Vintage 1980s Mexican Sterling Silver Obsidian Slab Ring Oversized Large Adjustable Sizes 7,8,9,10
Marked Hecho en Mexico, sterling, 925 with a right facing eagle mark this is a 1980s large oval black obsidian gemstone slab ring with an adjustable band. It has pierced and geometric cut work on both the front and back. Guaranteed solid sterling silver with its original natural mined gemstone. Size of top is just over 1 1/4" by 1 1/8". See photos of ring on ruler....it is quite large. The stone looks more like obsidian than a black onyx as it is not as shiny as a well polished onyx and it has a very smooth almost greasy texture so more likely to be obsidian. The stone is bezel set and measures 22mm by 16mm. No chips, cracks, flakes, abrasions, inclusions, scuffing. Overall excellent condition. The sterling setting is also excellent. No tears, deep scratches, dents or dings. Never altered or repaired. All original condition. Ring size is 7 1/2 with the band tightly curved the way you see it in the photo and could be adjusted up to a size 9 or 10 as there is 1/2" overlap that you can see on the upper curve in the photo. Vintage 1980s Sterling Silver Amethyst Glass Closed Bypass Ring Parts Repair Restore Size 7
Able to be used the way it is but being sold for parts, repair or restoration this is a lovely vintage 1980s sterling silver fixed bypass ring with amethyst glass pear shape stones and an oxidized finished top which originally held marcasites. 7-7.25. The inside is marked 925 for sterling silver quality. There is a scratch mark next to sterling mark which is Not a crack or tear in the silver. The silver is all good Guaranteed sollid sterling silver....not plated. The pear shaped amethysts are very soft pretty pinkish purple color. Size of top measures 5/8" north to south. As the inside tops of the marcasites settings have a darkened finish along side bright shiny prongs that look like antique millgrain work it is very difficult to notice that there were originally marcasites in the oxidized squares when it is worn on the finger unlike the enlarged photos which make the missing stones obvious. Fix, repair, restore or use as is this is a great winter project for anyone who is able to restore antique and vintage jewelry. Or upcycle it with with tiny CZs.
Vintage 1980s-1990s Real Diamonique 925DQ Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Ring Tall Mid Century 7
This is a vintage 1980s-1990s genuine Diamonique sterling silver and cubic zirconia solitaire ring with a tall Mid Century style setting. The mounting has 4 tall thick prongs that flare out in a "V" shape from the center of the front and back giving it a high reach for the large stone in the center. The top also contain a double band which was popular in the late 1980s and 1990s. The top band graduates larger on the sides to completely meet the top stone. The lower band comes to a point in the center similar to a soliitaire diamond setting so as to let a lot of light enter the stone. The band is marked DQ 925. It is also marked and KR in a shield on the other side representing the Kirchner Corporation (originally Kirchner and Renich). Ring size is 7. Cz is approximately 1.5 Carat equivalent diamond weight. Overall condition is excellent. No dents, dings, tears or damage to the band or setting. No cracks, chips, flakes or breaks to the CZ. Entire ring is strong, durable and very well made. This is a lovely collectible ring for when you don't want to wear better gemstone jewelry. Great knock around ring for regular, daily use.

Vintage 1970s OASIS Sterling Silver Red Coral Southwestern Bypass Ring Size 6.5
This is a vintage 1970s mid century sterling silver and deep red coral bypass ring in size 6 1/2. The inside is marked STER. G for sterling silver made by Gillespie Brothers in New Mexico. The outside of the band has the Gillespie Brothers stylized abstract OASIS marking. The mosaic red coral is set into black epoxy for a strong organic look indicative of 1970s Southwestern mid century design. There is a thick, showy wave design incorporated into the slanted scalloped edges of the ring. The stylized abstract OASIS marked in on both sides of the bypass. Ring size is 6 1/2 and the size is adjustable. The top bypass width is just about 3/4" wide north to south. Overall condition is all original and excellent. No dents, dings, tears or damage. never altered or repaired. A lovely original OASIS ring with red coral for your vintage southwestern and Native American Mid Century jewelry collection.
1960s Scandinavian Anna Greta Eker Modernist Dragon Scales Sterling Silver Ring Mid Century Adj Size 7
This is a fine example of the iconic Anna Greta Eker Solv Shell or Dragon Scale Scandinavian mid-century modernism jewelry made between 1960 and 1968. It is adjustable ring size, very well executed and still has its original darkened finish between the scales. Ring size as you see it in the photo is size 7. Size can be very carefully adjust up or down by 1 size and best to get it done by a jeweler in order to retain the balance of the design. Weight is heavy at 14.5 grams. It sits flat across the finger line with the edge curing up and outward. The scales are highly noticeable as Eker PLUS workshop production from the 60s. Top of ring measures measure 5/8" across the center north to south. Width across the finger is just about 7/8" measured east to west on the ring top. Other than some light surface age wear it is in excellent overall condition. No dents or dings or tears or deep scratches. Never altered. All original. A beautiful rare and hard to find Eker dragon scales ring for your Scandinavian mid century modern jewelry collection.

Antique 1920s Platinum Sterling Silver Citrine Paste Edwardian Art Deco Filigree Ring Size 7.5
**Early ring, filigree is very fine and delicate; not thick like photo......Gorgeous antique large citrine paste fancy open work filigree ring made between 1915 late Edwardian and 1920s early Art Deco. It is marked sterling and has that fine lacy platinum color that you only find on Edwardian era into 1920s jewelry. The later filigree jewelry has different color and thickness; not fine lacy platinum. The top also has a wide mounting with the same filigree wrapped around the top down to the band. Top of ring sits 1/4" above the finger line. The citrine paste has beautiful gold color and sparkle and is completely original to the ring. Size of top measures 7/16" north to south by 1/2" east to west. The citrine paste measures just about 13mm by 10mm. As is common with antique past it has abrasion on the top but the stone is so deeply color and sparkly that any scratches are only eye obvious with inspection. All of the prong tip are intact; no missing or worn down so the stone still fits securely in the mounting. Ring size is an original 7.5. It was never resized and this is very unusual for this era as women's fingers were on average much smaller back then compared to today. These antique filigree rings are always found in a much smaller size. As per AI the average women's wedding ring size was size 5. You can also see that this is the original band. If you look closely at the photos you will see that the band is wider on the outside than the inside. In other words, the part that touches the bottom of your finger has a shorter width and extends down longer on the sides. This is why so many of these antique rings have bends that are very worn down or replaced or resized. This one is all original and Not worn down. More modern jewelry from mid century to now is exactly the opposite with the wider part of the band being the part that touches your finger. Overall condition is excellent. This is an absolutely gorgeous early paste filigree ring for your antique jewelry collection. Nice and big and showy.

Large Chunky Mid Century Sterling Silver Plum Color Stone Ring - This is a very large chunky beautifully made 1960s mid century ring. It is solid sterling silver and marked with an old block letter full word sterling marking which is prior to the 1970 assay update laws mandating a 925 mark. This ring has a very big bulky mounting and thick side lugs and 4 large thick prongs to hold the stone in place. the lugs, shanks, and undermount have very strong geometrically juxtaposed mid century design for noticeable contrast. Ring size is 7 1/2. Weight is 17.6 grams. The top holds a beautiful 24mm or almost 1" long emerald cut deep purplish brown plum colored stone with lots of internal metallic flash. Stone is likely 1960s synthetic. It has gorgeous color with lots of fire. Height from top of stone to bottom of mounting, finger line is just over 1/2". The sterling silver is excellent. No dents or dings. No damage or repair. No alterations or resize. No gauges or deep scratches. The stone has a few light age scuffs to the surface that are not eye obvious. Some of the marking has worn with age but the Ray and Large fancy Be are still clearly visible. It also has the Begay sterling mark with the word sterling is block letters where the top of the R is joined to the top of the L. Ring size is 5.5. The top of the ring measures 1.56" north to south by 13/16" wide east to west across the center. The top holds its original natural mined turquoise and natural red coral stones. It also has a decent sized bear claw that has some age fissures on the surface from age. The ring setting is beautifully hand crafted with very thick, solid sterling silver. Strong and durable. This is a vintage Late Mid Century Sterling Silver Sodalite Ring 8 1/4 size with a natural mined, natural grained, hand cut blue sodalite stone with Scandinavian design. This is a huge gorgeous hand made sterling silver modernist ring with a large 16m natural light amethyst quartz cabochon stone and a large faux mabe pearl in excellent condition. Marked 925 and tested as solid sterling silver. Ring size is adjustable from the top for size 6 1/2, 7, 7 1/2, 8. The top is 1 7/16" across by 3/4" wide North to South on the quartz bezel. This is a very showy ring that looks great on any finger or toe. It is thick, chunky, weighty and very well made.
