As we were unable to identify this cardinal we sent an image to AI and learned the following. This is a 1920s to 1940s Catholic devotional reliquary likely depicting Cardinal Pacelli prior to becoming Pope of the Catholic Church. Or a clearer image might possibly narrow it down to well-known early 20th-century cardinals such as:

Cardinal William O'Connell
Cardinal Dennis Dougherty
However it has the closest resemblance to Cardinal Pacelli. It came from an estate many decades ago so the age is pretty accurate. Other than the cross getting disconnected from the ribbon it is in excellent vintage condition. Size is 1 3/4" across in diameter.
Vintage Sterling Lady of Guadeloupe Devotional Catholic Medal Pendant Mexico Americas Patron Saint Unisex
Patron Saint of Mexico and Americas this is a vintage 1950s mid century minimalist sterling silver Catholic religious medal pendant of Our Lady of Guadeloupe. It is marked sterling along with a maker's mark of GND inside a fish. This mark is known to authenticate that it was made by Gemma N DeMers/GND or GN DeMers who was known for producing various sterling silver devotional medals during the mid-20th century. The bail is 1/4" wide at the top which is large enough for a man's chain 5-5.5mm or a woman's chain. Size of medal is 1" across in diameter. With the bail it measures 1 3/8" north to south. The central raised Lady of Guadeloupe figure is veiled and well detailed. The 1950s minimalist design only used engraved rays at the bottom of the figure rather than all the way around. The flat area around the raised figure is decorated with multiple engraved geometric shapes indicative of the mid century. It came from an estate from many years ago and is all original; Not freshly polished out. No damage or repair. Never altered. Never monogrammed on the back. The back of the bail is curved like fob so you can push it to secure the medal to the chain in a particular spot so it won't float around. Other than very light faint age wear it is in excellent overall condition. Just add any chain and you will have a lovely Gaudeloupe necklace for your vintage religious jewelry collection. This one has very intricate mid century geometric decoration.

Origin is Italy, Turkey, Middle East, Portugal and all of these countries were known for this type of hand crafting but the turquoise is more of an indicator of middle eastern or Turkish origin. You judge. Size is just over 2"tall north to south by 1 1/2" across the center. The center comes apart to open and close the egg. This is a beautiful holder for your antique prayer beads or hand crafted religious items collection.

Dated 1857 this is an antique German prison reform hymnal prayer book with blue velvet covers, silver filigree hinges, and an 1887 hand engraved presentation inscription inside the hinged latch. From what I was able to translate online it appears that this book was used as a religious reformation tool to reform German prisoners in the 1800s. It is intact and the inside pages are still in excellent condition. Pages are still quite pliable and not torn. Size is 7" by 4.5" x 7/8".

The top bail is quite large with a 10mm opening to accommodate a big, thick chain up to 8mm or 9mm and the crucifix will float freely. The father is adorned with a halo of sparkly rhinestones while the rest of the crucifix is well detail with deep recesses throughout. Condition is excellent, very gently used. All of the stones are well matched and still bright and clear. This is a lovely trinity crucifix for any occasion.

This is a 1930s-1950s mid to late Art Deco Portuguese Silver, Miraculous Mary, fancy filigree pendant from Lourdes. Silver metal, not sterling quality, lower grade Euro silver alloy. It came from a mid to late Art Deco estate and is in excellent condition. The front has a raised, detailed figure of Mary that is still crisp and not worn down. The back reads: Souvenir Den De Lourdes. It is light weight and easy to wear. Size is 1 1/4" tall with the bail by 3/4" wide across the center. Weight is 1.9 grams. It still has its original old thick oval bail in place. The Mary figure is framed with fancy filigree open work that has tiny intricate cut work on the edges similar to antique millgrain. It has some age patina and some surface scratches on the back. The front is beautiful and very antique looking. This is an antique vintage Christian/Catholic sepia picture/photo on tin in its original gold gilt bezeled frame. Maybe you recognize the photo? The front has quite a bit of age patina which could be polished out. The photo is on tin and the frame is old gold gilt on the front and back. Attached is its original small crucifix which has tarnish from age. All pieces are in excellent condition and from the estate of the original owner. None have been cleaned or polished out. The crucifix is 1 1/4"tall North to South. The fancy frame of the photo is 1 3/4" across East to West. This is a lovely unusual photo jewelry item for your religious collection. It looks like it may have come from a special event from many, many years ago There is a small red ribbon holding the crucifix to the pin.

The original antique oil cloth case is very worn and the top snap is missing on the front. Size is 2" log by 1 1/2" wide. It came from an estate and is completely original.

It is very light weight and easy to carry. Marked Italy on the metal backed crucifix. The centerpiece has a fancy cut out open work raised Miraculous Mary with stars above her head. It is also marked Italy. The crucifix is 2 1/8" tall and looks like it is framed in 1940s aluminum. From an Art Deco estate. Other than a thin split in the wood on one arm where the Christ figure is nailed into the cross it is in excellent, original condition. Never repaired. Still strong and secure. No damage or wear the beads. This is a lovely estate rosary for your vintage religious collection.

It is lightly marked 925 on top of the bail and quite visible once you find it. It has also been jeweler tested and is Guaranteed solid sterling silver...not plated. Please see the last photo for marking. It also has a very large, wide bail so it could float on a thick neck chain or it was possibly originally used on a rosary and then converted with this large bail. Either way it looks very pretty. If you look closely at the photos you can see the hand cut circles and all of the diamond cut work throughout lending it somewhat of a sparkly look. Size is 2 1/8" tall north to south by 1 3/16" wide across east to west. It has some age patina in the grooves on the back that has not been polished out. Overall condition is excellent. No damage or repair. All original. Very well kept all these years. Just add any chain (beaded or metal) and you will have a lovely vintage dangling cross statement necklace for your vintage jewelry collection.
