1900 to 1920 Hand Painted Signed Icon Miniature Father and Child Original Crystal Fancy Gold Gilt Bezel Celluloid Frame Wall Hanging
Sorry for the photo glare on the crystal. This is a lovely small religious wall hanging miniature antique icon of father and child. It is hand painted possibly over an image and is also hand signed. Enlarge the photos to see the signature. Looks like Zuigy but is likely something close to this name. Size of frame is 2 1/4" square. Size of the miniature painting is only 1 1/4" diameter. Unusually detailed and intricate for such a small size. The painting is set into its original fancy carved bronze or gold gilt bezel frame which has its original glass crystal and it's early 1900s to 1920 beige celluloid frame. The frame has an old piece of brocade that original owner had glued onto the back. The corners of the frame are starting to separate from age. Other than this, the frame, crystal and miniature painting are in excellent condition. No splits or cracks or discoloration to the celluloid. No damage to the icon/painting. Good bezel and crystal. Lovely estate religious item in original condition for your had painted miniature collection or Eastern Orthodox, Byzantine icon religious collection.

Antique Victorian Oil Hand Painted Full Figure Portrait Miniature Girl in Blue Tween Oval Gold Metal Pendant Frame Late 1800s
This is an antique Victorian late 1800s hand painted child photograph of a tween 9-12 yr. old girl in a blue dress with a black off the shoulder top. Hair is parted in the center and tightly pulled back. She is on very thick paper which is held in place in the frame with its original antique cardboard. Once you take her out of the frame you can see that she is beautifully painted by hand with layering of the oil paint. The original picture was hand cut into an oval in order to be framed. The cutting is not completely symmetrical but this is not visible behind the frame. She is mounted in an oval pendant made of metal. The front color is dark gold, almost bronze looking. Either plated or painted. The back is tin with a shiny gold color finish and very deeply set into the frame. It has multiple age scratches. Size of frame is 4 1/2" north to south from top of pendant frame bail to bottom of frame by 3 1/8" across the center east to west. Being so beautifully painted she is a lovely addition for your portrait miniature and antique Victorian painted photograph collection. ***Any white lines you or blotches you may see in the photos are from lighting. There are No white blotches on the painting.

All are marked 1941 and feature women with various Art Deco era hair styles like the bob, side cut etc...Each card explains why the picture of woman on the card is your ideal love mate. Compared to today's standards these are actually quite comical. One has a very slight corner bend seen on the back. Other than this they are in excellent overall condition. Antique Art Deco Flapper Era Hand Painted Miniature Watercolor Lady Painting Bronze and Hanging Pendant and Stand Up Pendant Frame 1930s
** Any white lines, marks, blotches etc.. you may see in photos are from lighting. The painting is perfect and retains all of its original 1930s color. This is a lovely Art Deco flapper with bobbed hair, head cap and sheer clothing. She is beautifully hand painted with watercolors on proper hot-pressed smooth watercolor paper of the same era. She is also mounted properly with her original brown paper and matting. Additionally, the back closure is the original brown velvet with its original matching velvet easel back stand. The top of the frame holds a metal pendant bail for hanging. Both the pendant and the bail look like solid bronze. There are also extremely tiny nails drilled into the top, bottom and sides to hold the back in place. The bottom back popped away from the 1 remaining nail and should be either re-nailed or glued in one corner to hold the painting, matting and backing in place. Other than this, it is in excellent condition overall. No stains or tears. No wearing down of color. No damage or repair. She was found in the estate of the original artist from New Rochelle, NY around 30 years ago and had been kept untouched in the estate for many decades prior to being sold by original owner's family. Size is 5" north to south from top of bail to bottom of frame by 3 1/4" wide east to west. The pendant bale is hinged so it can be tilted as needed. This is a beautiful hand painted miniature with an unusually nice solid metal pendant frame in original excellent condition for your collection. **This estate was located in the same neighborhood, a couple of blocks away from the Norman Rockwell house. It was known to be an areaof exclusive homes for artists and writers and Thomas Paine Cottage museum.185.00

Additionally, there is tiny millgrain work around the perimeter of each tine. Size is 6 1/4" tall by 2 1/4" wide across bottom center. the tines are 1 11/16" long. This is a 14"tall sized pre war RRPC Robinson Rambottom art pottery jardiniere base in solid white with pretty raised light blue flowers amid brown branches, Top measures 6" across and graduates to 8" across the bottom. Overall it is in excellent condition having only a small amount of glaze wear on the bottom rim underneath where it is not visible when standing. This is only about an inch and a half and it only pertains to the outer glaze. It is from an estate where it sat around for many decades and could use a washing. The pottery itself is not chipped or cracked. No breaks, glue, repair or color touchups. All original. Any white vintage RRPC, McCoy, or any other vintage white pottery bowl will look good on top. These bases are also great for flipping and flower stuffing for holiday tables, special occasions and foyer entrances.

**Boy is perfect; girl has crack on base. Gorgeous pair of antique 1920s German Bisque Figure/Statue of a little girl and boy with beautifully molded heads indicative of a Heubach child or piano baby. Marked #5109 on the back and has an incised mark on the bottom from the original making. They also have a solid base with a very small air hole so you know they are old originals and not later reproductions. Size is 9.25″ tall. The facial features are very, very finely detailed with deep intaglio eyes, very curly long hair ringlets and a well form closed mouth. See close up image of boy; he is beautifully made. They also have the more desirable pale bisque rosy cheeks. Extremely well-painted. No roughness or ruddiness at all. Nice and smooth. They from an estate where she hadn’t been moved from the shelf for quite a few decades. Other than needing some cleaning, overall condition is excellent. No chips, flakes, or wear to the original paint. No fractures, hairlines or repairs. A lovely and very pretty example of antique German bisque children for your collection.

Dated 1857 this is an antique German prison reform hymnal prayer book with blue velvet covers, silver filigree hinges, and an 1887 hand engraved presentation inscription inside the hinged latch. From what I was able to translate online it appears that this book was used as a religious reformation tool to reform German prisoners in the 1800s. It is intact and the inside pages are still in excellent condition. Pages are still quite pliable and not torn. Size is 7" by 4.5" x 7/8".

Weight is 179.5 grams including the mirror. Condition is very good. No dents. No deep scratches. One tiny pinpoint ding and some age wear on the back from laying in the box all these years and could be polished out by any jeweler. Good mirror. Good hinge. Fancy Sterling Silver 8 Day Travel Clock Works Original Swiss Mechanism Closed Face
This is a 1920s to 1930s antique vintage early Art deco sterling silver 8 day travel clock in excellent condition with its original mechanism intact. It is marked sterling and also hallmarked. Additionally, it is tested and Guaranteed solid sterling silver.....not plated. Very well made with heavy sterling silver, deeply engraved pattern on both sides and a very strong locking clasp. Size is 3.5″ by 2.87″ and measures 1/2″ deep/thick on the center edges. Weight with the clock inside is 241.6 grams. The outside has a fancy script monogram. The inside was never monogrammed or inscribed. We wound it up about 45 minutes ago and it has been ticking accordingly non stop keeping good time. Other than a fingernail mark in the monogram the sterling silver is excellent all the way around. No dents, tears, gauges, deep scratches etc… Porcelain clock face is good and the original crystal in intact. From an estate and in original condition this is a beautiful addition for your antique and vintage silver or clock collection; very fancy examples are not easy to find!

1940s Handkerchief Group 4 World War 2 WW2 Hankies - This is a group of 4 ladies hankies from the 1940s sent home to sister from soldier. They are all silk taffeta. Sorry for the photo glare. The only one with any age discoloration is the purplish gray one. All of the others have good even color. They are from an estate from years ago where they have been put away for many decades. Two are embroidered AAE which I assume is American Air Force. None have any tears or holes. Both the blue one and the pink one have lost their AAE and the blue one lost its star. Other than needing the AAE stitched back into the handkerchiefs this group was kept in very good condition. Photos show you each full side of each individual handkerchief.

Antique Miniature Erotica Action Mini Movie Book Flip Pages Action - This type of action book was first patented in the mid 1800s in UK and later in the US in the late 1800s this is a miniature movie book whereby one flips the pages to see the action much like animation was done. They were a precursor to animation and film movies. This is what was termed a "sexy" book in the late Victorian to turn of the century era. In this book as you flip you see the model in various state of getting undressed. Other than the first 2 pages which you see have a red tint it is in excellent condition and complete. If you are able to flip quickly it actually looks like the model in moving. Pages are made of very thick paper and won't easily bend. Book measures 2.75" by 1.75" and has a total of 31 pages. Completely intact, excellent condition. A pre tech novelty from an era long gone by for your antique collectible collection!!

Mid Century Ingeborg Lundin Orrefors Ariel Graal Vase Scandinavian - This is a stunning example of Orrefors Ariel Graal mid century Scandinavian Swedish Modern geometric design glass made by Ingeborg Lundin (highly accomplished well listed artist, heavily published, major long term artistic design for Orrefors as well as gold prize achiever in 1957). Signed Orrefors, Ariel 159 M, Ingeborg Lundin. M series is from 1963. (See last 2 photos for markings). It is from an estate collection of mid century Scandinavian glass and in excellent, original condition. No chips or cracks. Completely original. Never altered or polished out. Some normally expected light, minor, faint age scratches at the bottom. Size is large at just about 6" tall and weight is 7.8lbs. Width across the top is also 6". Thickness is 9/16" at the top tapering down to 1 5/8" at the bottom. Color is an unusual and likely harder to find green that shades from bright mint green to slate green in natural lighting. For the discriminating collector of mid century modernism Swedish Modern glass this is an exceptionally fine example in a rare color and size by a well respected artist for your collection!

PAIR Antique Victorian Dumps Paperweight Red Orchids Large - lovely pair of antique Victorian paperweights, dumps in larger than average size with unusual internal colors. They are from an estate collection of Victorian glass antiques to mid century modernist glass. They have areas of surface wear particularly on the flat bottoms and edges and around the very tops. Handed down by original owner these are about 140 years old and consist of rarer mint green color rather than the more common aquamarine color as well as rarer internal colors of red, white, and yellow. Most have a single color if any internally. Size of each is 4 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" wide and very, very chunky. These are quite hefty and weighty. They are also very well made by hand as you can see on the photos of the bottoms. They sit flat and evenly on the table. Other than the overall scratching these are a most unusual pair of Victorian paperweight dumps for your antique glass collection. A good local glass polisher could probably give these a better finish although they are noticeably early and charming the way they are.......Hard to find an early matched handmade pair of these.

Size is 4 1/2" across east to west from top edge of handle to tip of spout by 4" tall from top of handle to base north to south. Width across 2" front to back across the center. 1940s NASB Nancy Ann Storybook Doll w Box 113 and Original Paperwork. Doll is marked USA Story Book Dolls. She is stiff bisque with jointed hard plastic arms; 1940s transitional. Original owner confused her dolls with their boxes so the doll is likely a different name than the box states. Body, head, wig, face, clothes, hat are all excellent. Dress is pale yellow decorated with red and blue flowers with matching blue pique trim and matching blue at. Overall excellent condition. Box has some age wear.

Chunky 7inch German Bisque 550 Baby Boy Doll Intaglio Eyes and a toddler type body from an estate and in original condition. Back of head is marked Germany, 550, 14/0. Size is a broad 7" from top of head to bottom of lower right foot. The composition body has its original brown paper tape around the chest which may have a crier inside the torso. It doesn't appear that the tape has ever been removed from the body but we don't hear or feel the weight of a crier in there. The head has deep blue intaglio eyes, brushstroke painted hair, wide lips and a "pug" nose. There is also a chin dimple. The broad face, chunky body and original gauze dress with blue trim show this pudgy baby to be an original Boy baby doll. Lace trim is starting to pull away on one end. The head is all good. No cracks, chips, flakes, hairlines etc.... Although the head is detailed with a noticeable fontanelle flat spot as you would see on a real baby's head the bisque is a little crude particularly on the ears. This is probably due to the doll being one of the later examples to come out of this mold. The body is a 5 piece light pink lightweight composition having 2 legs that curve but don't cross. They look much as you would see in a baby learning to walk who has not fully achieved toddlerhood. The body has some age spotting which has not been cleaned and the neck socket is caving a little bit from age splits around the neck opening. The head still sits sturdy in the opening so a socket buildup is not necessary at this point but you may want to consider it down the line. Other than this the body is all intact and in fairly good condition. A little cleaning and you will have a lovely all original German bisque boy baby for your collection. He also looks lovely displayed on antique miniature furniture.

Mid Century Italian Art Glass Bunny Rabbit Sculpture Figure from Murano, Italy. It is beautifully made and the rabbit has strong features and a very pensive look. Size is 6" tall by 4" wide across the ears by 2 1/2"wide across the bottom. Front to back depth of the bottom is 3 3/4". It has very few internal bubbles and the outside condition is excellent. No chips, or cracks, or hairlines, or flakes. All original. Never modified, altered or repaired. Direct from the estate of original original where is sat in a cabinet all these years. This is a lovely art glass sculpture for your mid century collection. Being a popular sculpture it has been mimicked by other glass makers with various changes (squatting, long tail, leaning over, different ears, etc..) over the years.

Antique Vienna Bronze Dachshund Dog Match Holder is solid bronze with lovely detailing; big floppy ears, noticeable elongated body like a real Dachshund, short cropped tail, well defined snout, deep eyes and deep inverted v shaped mouth. Paws are also big and fluffy. The bottom has scratch marks where you can see that it is solid bronze through and through. Not plated or cast iron. Size is 2.5" tall from top of head to bottom of base. The base is 2.25" long by 1.5" wide by .75" tall without the figure. The bottom of the base is coming apart at the edge which could be resoldered or glued. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. No damage or repair to figure. Completely original. Never modified or altered. This is a beautiful antique Dachshund for your Vienna Bronze or antique dog collection.
