Description
This is a lovely old mark hand painted Capodimonte fine porcelain parrot statue in excellent, ready to displayed condition. These early examples are beautifully crafted with very pretty coloring and strong attention to fine details. The porcelain is thick and solid and the bottom has a very small air hold so you know it is an early one. Size is 6″ tall north to south. Width ranges from 3″ to 3 1/2″ across. Condition is excellent. No cracks or chips or hairlines. No damage or repair. This is a beautiful example of the Capodimonte parrot figures for your collection.
