This is a very large thick chunky 1950s-60s mid century dark red plastic bangle bracelet; looks and feels like old heavy bakelite but does not have the distinct odor of bakelite. Old, original and from an estate of a jewelry manufacturer. It is deeply recessed and has that look of early plastic/bakelite…..the kind of plastic that has the color baked into it rather than applied after manufacture. It has some light age wear. Size is 1 3/16″ wide across. Thickness is almost 5/16″. Diameter across the inside opening is 2 1/2″. The inside circumference is almost 7 1/2″ around. The outside circumference is 9 1/2″ around the outer edge. No chips or cracks. No repair. All original and very, very chunky. Lovely addition for any vintage plastic jewelry collection!

3 Old Vintage Butterscotch Bakelite Bangle Bracelet Group -Simichrome tested and Guaranteed to be old 1940s to 1950s original bakelite this is a group of 3 butterscotch bangle bracelets with the center bangle being carved. Two are 3/16" wide across the top and one is 5/16" wide across the top. All are 3/16" thickness/deep. The inside open space of 2 are about 2 1/2" across with one being 2 9/16" across in diameter. Outside edge circumference is 9.5" around. Inside circumference is just about 7.5". Should fit most hand sizes. Weight of all 3 combined is 29.6 grams. It is very old manufacturer stock from a jeweler's estate and in excellent overall condition. A lovely addition for any true vintage bakelite collection!

The center was never polished out. It measures 5/8" wide and is just about 3/8" thickness/deep. The inside open space is 2 9/16" across in diameter. Outside edge circumference is just over 10.5" around. Inside circumference is 7.5". Should fit most hand sizes Weight is 48.5 grams. One group lot of 3 early 1930s to 1940s marbled butterscotch bakelite slab chunks for jewelry making, crafting, necklaces, earrings, bracelets etc... They are from an old, old estate and were originally used for antique bakelite radio cases. All are simichrome tested and Guaranteed to be old, original, authentic bakelite. All have that look, feel and color that you only find on true Art Deco bakelite. The butterscotch color and deep and well pronounced. Each chunk is 4.18" tall north to south by 2.5" wide across east to west and measures 1/8" thick. They have some surface age scratches. All are excellent condition. 5 Pairs Vintage Marbled Green Kiwi Lime Bakelite Pierced Post Earrings - This is a group of tested and guaranteed bakelite earrings in marbled green kiwi lime color and large 1.18" size. They are from the 1970s to 1980s and have a lacquer finish. So, in order to test them properly we cut one extra earring and were able to smell the burnt electronic smell associated with bakelite. We also simichrome tested the inside. Additionally, the earring charred but did not melt when placed over fire. They are a lovely light medium kiwi lime green color with yellow marbling, somewhat more muted baeklite color than the photo could capture. Unknown if they were ever drilled. They have strong and securely glued backs with silverplated covers and posts and stainless butterfly catches. Any glue marks you may see in the enlarged photos are not eye noticeable when the earrings are worn on the ear. All are in excellent, condition. Old store stock from an establishment in business from the 1960s to 2005 and were stored away for decades. Lovely group of 10 pieces of vintage bakelite for you and yours! Vintage Deep Carved Black Bakelite Bangle Bracelet 1950s Amorphic Design - This is a showy, deep carved, original, authentic, mid century 1950s estate bangle bracelet. It is simichrome tested and guaranteed to be original 1950s. Size is 7/8" wide across the top. The diameter of the open space is 2 1/2" across. Color is midnight black and very noticeable. The carved work is amorphic throughout along with some geometric patterns and a strongly carved border perimeter on one side. If you look at the edge you will see 3 deep carved cuts with actually give this bracelet a visual expression of being composed of 3 main amorphic elements with all of the other elements contained within. This is a pair of vintage runway size couture 1970s Les Bernard long shoulder duster carved bakelite leaf earrings in mottled green. They originally were sold to jewelers in groups in clear bags with gold Les Bernard Inc logos on the bags. The bakelite has been simichrome tested and is guaranteed to be true bakelite. Size of each earring is 3 1/4” from top of hook to bottom of leaf. Each earrings has its own characteristics as they are cut, carved, and crafted by hand. So you will see slight size, color, and cut variations in each earring. When dangling on the ear or held to light they have strong semi translucence and very deep crisp dark mottling similar to marbled bakelite. Overall condition is excellent. This is a lovely pair of very big, showy, Les Bernard earrings for your vintage bakelite or designer jewelry collection.

Large Chunky Thick Very Blue Bakelite Open Hoop Pierced Post Earrings - Old stock from a jewelry store that closed years ago this is a thick, chunky pair of vintage simichrome tested and Guaranteed to be vintage bakelite open hoop pierced post earrings. Color is strong matte blue. Only ever used for display they are in excellent, ready to wear condition. No damage or repair. Very minimal age wear, nothing eye obvious. Good polish. Size of each earring is just about 1 1/2" North to South from the top of the crescent to the bottom. Width of the center bottom of the crescent is over 1/2". Depth is 7/16". The outsides are well polished. With good rich color and a showy size in great condition this is a lovely pair of vintage bakelite earrings for your collection or display.
