In excellent ready to wear condition this is a lovely vintage mid century modernist abstract centerpiece necklace made in the 1970s by Napier. Size is 18″ long end to end is a straight line laid out flat on table. Width of chain is 3/8″. The dramatic centerpiece measures just about 2″ on the diagonal by 7/8″ wide across the center north to south. Looks good as a stand alone for evening wear or alongside a suit jacket for day wear. All of the gold is still very fluid looking as you see in the photos. All bright and shiny. Excellent overall condition. No dents or dings. No damage or repair. Locking clasp is still strong and secure. It appears that original owner rarely used this necklace. It is from an estate that was many decades old and has been sitting in a draw all these years. Both the bottom centerpiece and the clasp have matching Napier signature markings. A lovely mid century modernist statement necklace for your vintage jewelry collection.
