Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Serious Stern Mask Face Dangle Pendant
This is a small vintage 1980s Mexican, Taxco sterling silver pendant of an elongated masked man with a strong serious facial expression. It is marked TE-42 or which represents Taxco origin by the 42nd Silversmith with a letter "E" initial to register with the Mexican government as a silver maker in Taxco. It is also marked Hecho En Mexico and 925 for sterling silver quality. The face is very deeply recessed with exceptional detail from the raised mask to the deeply inset intaglio eyes to well formed narrow protruding nose and raised pursed lips. The details are very well pronounced. Bail is almost 1/4″ wide inside so it will hold a good sized 5m-6m thick chain. Size is just over 1 3/16" north to south from top of bail to bottom of strongly pointed chin. Width across is slightly less than 1/2″ east to west across the eyes on the sides of the head. Height/depth is 1/4″ from top of nose point straight down to the table. Overall condition is excellent. No damage or repair. Bright and shiny with its original mirror finish. Never altered. Nice smooth casting. All original. This is an unusually well detailed Mexican face pendant for your vintage Mexican silver jewelry collection OR cut off the bail and use it for a showy unusual vintage charm bracelet.
Vintage Italian 925 Sterling Silver Tall Western Hat Pendant Charm Banded Decoration Arrezo Italy
This is a tall 1980s showy vintage 1980s Italian sterling silver creased Western hat pendant for men or women. It is marked with registrations numbers, AR for Arrezo Italy original and 925 for Sterling Silver quality. The top has a concave crease as you would see on a cowboy, cattleman or also women's Western hats. There is also a 3 element banding around the crown. The hallmarks, maker marking, and 925 marks are very small and found on the bail. Bail is almost 1/4" wide inside so it will hold a good sized 6m-7m thick chain. Size is 1 3/8" from top of bail to bottom front of hat. Width across is 3/4" east to west, side to side of the hat. Height is just over 1/4" tall from top crease of hat to bottom rim. Overall condition is excellent. No damage or repair. Bright and shiny like when it was originally made. Never altered. Nice smooth casting. All original. Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Deep Abstract Bloomed Rose Pendant
Late mid century 1980s stylized heavily sculptured rose pendant marked 925 and made of sollid solid sterling silver. Marked Mexico 925. Tested and guaranteed solid sterling silver…..not plated. Size measures 1 1/4″ tall north to south including the bail by just about 7/8″ across east to west in diameter. Without the bail the rose is just about 7/8″ tall (same diameter). It is very deep and the rose petals are very robust looking. Depth is 3/8″. The top center has sweeping petals that curve in a circular direction amid a center sterling bead resembling a pinwheel. This center sits in an oxidized finished bowl with triangular edges that have pointed petals curving down and under the petals. This oxidized design became very popular among silver worshops during the 1980s late Mid Century brutalist era in Mexico. The triangles are framed within the lowest layer that consists of 4 semicircles. All handmade construction and very, very creative design. It is very well made with thick, strong, solid sterling silver and a fairly wide bail. Overall condition is excellent. No damage or repair. All original. Never altered. no repair. This is a vintage late mid century sterling silver dangle pendant composed of geometric circle atop a down pointing arrow or inverted upside down triangle. The front has a soft textured finish and the back is plain and shiny. It is marked 925 for sterling quality and guaranteed solid sterling silver. The shape of the entire pendant is slightly convex. Size measures 1 1/2" tall north to south from the top of the bail to the bottom point of the triangular arrow. Width across the widest point at the shoulders is 5/8" east to west. This is a vintage late mid century, 1970s to 1980s Mexican sterling silver pendant with a blend of traditional textures, ball design and rectangular with circular geometric styling. All handmade from a Taxco workshop where the silversmith ATI was known to be located in the 1970s and 1980s. It is from an old store display and still holds all of its original, bright shiny mirror like finish. Marked Mexico, 925 and ATI maker mark. See confirmation of original, date and maker below. The round tubular bail allows the pendant to move easily on the necklace chain. It is thick, heavy, strong and very well overall. Should hold a 3mm to near 4mm chain. Having a 3/16″ depth the 3 dimensional rectangle is well raised and very showy amid the other geometric shapes and braid trim around the perimeter forming the background. Tiny Vintage Silver Cherub Angel Charm Pendant Miniature
This is a very small silver charm/pendant of a highly detailed raised angel famously and originally depicted in the Sistine Madonna Painting by Raphael in Italy in 1512. It looks and feel like vintage sterling silver but any marking has worn with age. Size with the bail is 6/16" north to south. Measurement of just the circular angel is 1/2" across in diameter. Any marks you may see on the enlarge images are not eye catchy and need polishing out. Condition is excellent. No damage or repair. Gently used. Some light surface age wear only. Vintage 1920s-1940s Old Mark Art Deco Era Mexico Silver Sterling Amethyst Barrel Cut Pendant
This is an older vintage Art Deco Mexican sterling silver and barrel cut natural amethyst pendant. It has the old 1920s-1940s marking of Mexico Silver to indicate the metal is at least sterling silver quality. It is also tested strongly as sterling silver and is likely a higher grade. Quite often the silver used during this era in Mexico was actually 950 to 980 quality particularly if there were gemstones in the jewelry. Much better than sterling purity of 925. The amethyst is beautifully polished and the silver has fine hand crafting. The top has a hook bail that reaches over the top from the back toward the front and it has a tiny hole at the end circle which just sits atop the front ball on the top face of the pendant.; it doesn't snap over the ball. The opening will hold a 2-3mm chain. Size of pendant is 1 3/16″ tall north to south by 7/8″ wide across east to west across the center of the body ball end to ball end. The depth is over 1/4″ as the amethyst barrel cut very tall and deep. The amethyst quartz on this one is lovely and overall condition is excellent having minimal age wear; few surface abrasions only, that are not eye noticeable. The silver is also in excellent condition, No damage or tears or dents or dings or deep scratches to the silver. This is a lovely Art Deco gemstone pendant for anyone who collects early versions of Mexican Silver hand crafted gemstone jewelry.

It has extremely fine detailing of the figural pope in official pontifical vestments on one side and St. Peter's Basilica on the back along with the words Souvenir Jubilee and the 1925 year date. It also has very fancy scroll work on the bottom along with wheat and floral adornments in the design. Highly detailed from the details in the Pope's face to the veins in the wheat and flora. This is a late mid century vintage nephrite jade hand cut heart pendant for a necklace with its original tiny silver bail. Large, showy, very hard to find early Art Deco Made in France 1889 to 1920s Paris Exposition or Brussels International Exposition era estate pendant with its original marcasites and large camphor glass rectangle. It is from an estate and hasn't been cleaned or polished in many decades. The back is marked Made in France and it has been jeweler tested and is guaranteed solid sterling silver. Size is 2 1/2" north to south by 2 1/2" across the top east to west. It still has some of the original silver wire in the triple bail which can be replaced easily to make a silver wire torque necklace if you like. Other than needing one very small/tiny marcasite it is in excellent overall condition. Non dents or dings. No deep scratches or tears. Never repair. Vintage 1960s to 1970s mid century heart locket pendant marked 12K gold filled with a maker mark of BB, likely from one of the Rhode Island jewelry houses that made much of this jewelry in the 60s. Photos were glued to the inside. Size is 1.25" north to south from top loop to bottom by 15/16" east to west. The front was never monogrammed or inscribed and it has a slight ding under the cartouche which is only seen up close when the light hits the striations in the gold a certain way. The rest of the heart including the fancy back is in excellent condition overall. The snap closure is strong and works well. You can hear the loud snap locking it in place when you close it up. Lovely vintage item for your memorable photos for everyday use.

The back has a very shiny finish which leads me to be believe that it may have had a lacquer coating applied by the jeweler back in the 70s in order to prevent tarnishing. It also has a marking in the silver on the lower back near the rim which is likely a 925 marking for sterling quality.

It is marked, Sterling, MMA for Metropolitan Museum of Art. The front prominently features a boy walking on a branch along with his dog. He carries a stick in his right hand. The engraved work is highly detailed and the cobalt blue enameling is well done. Size of pin is 2.5" across in diameter. Weight is heavy at 37.5 grams. The sterling has some minor age wear. All enameling is intact. No chips or damage. Overall, it is very thick, solid, strong and well made with a 5mm bale on the back to hold a large heavy chain. The locking clasp works well. Antique Edwardian Platinum 14K Gold Ruby Pearl Lavaliere Necklace Lavalier Pendant - Gorgeous, original antique Edwardian lavaliere pendant necklace in solid 14k gold and platinum. BOTH the chain loop and the dangle have MATCHING early European hallmarks with an animal stamp, 14, and another tiny illegible stamp. Both the chain and the dangle top are platinum over 14K yellow gold. The pearl ruby dangle is solid 14K yellow gold without platinum. Along with the pearl and the rubies there are 2 very, very tiny antique rose cut diamond embedded into the dangle stick. Size of chain is 19". Size of dangle is about 1" north to south by 9/32" (over 1/4") across east to west. The natural pearl is 6mm across, cream white, fine quality, beautiful early clean example. Chaining is also quite early and although very delicate and narrow it is extremely well made and durable. The platinum on gold of the chain matches the platinum on gold of the dangle stick and the loop connecting to the ruby dangle. Weight is 3.3 grams. Condition is excellent, very gently used. No damage or repair. All original from the estate of original owner's family. This is a gorgeous original early example containing fine quality goods for your antique jewelry collection!!

Vintage Mexican Carved Onyx Copper Hand Made Tribal God Pendant
This is a very large 1950 mid century hand wrought copper and hand carved Aztec Jade or Mesoamerica Green Jadeite Mexican face pendant with an early oxidized finish. It came from a mid century Westchester, NY estate years ago and measures 4" tall! A very oversized fine example of mid century handwrought Mexican jadeite tribal jewelry. Width across the arms East to West is 3.5". The green onyx face has lovely color and banding. You can see in the photos that the better part of the stone with all the banding was used. The banding goes all the way around the edge in dark to light green colors in concentric circles. The carved face alone is 1 9/16″ tall. Highly noticeable and very well carved. There are also additional stone beads in each corner. The one at the top is missing. Any similar white jadeite bead will do for replacement. Other than this it is in excellent overall condition. All of the copper, the cut work on the edges and the hand applied squiggles are intact. Beautifully made this is a gorgeous, eye stopping pendant for anyone who collects mid century handmade Mexican or tribal jewelry.

Super pretty, fine example carved by an experienced seasoned hand.
Condition - From an estate and very well cared for. Completely original. Never altered, modified or repaired. Although there are no cracks or hairlines there is an internal fissure/inclusion that is natural and contained to the inside of the shell. When you run your fingernail over the outside there is no opening or hairline. The outside of the shell is all good and smooth. No internal imperfection is eye visible at all when the cameo is worn. All of the 14K gold is also good. No dents or dings. No cracks or tears. Never repaired. All good and not worn down. The locking clasp is strong and secure and works with ease. The bale is soldered to the top ring so it won't come apart.

Antique Chinese Sterling Silver Blue Stone Mesh Pendant
Antique Chinese Sterling Silver Blue Stone Mesh Pendant for a necklace from the late 1800s to turn of the century from an estate and in completely original, well kept condition. It is marked Silver (early mark for Chinese Sterling Silver quality). It is also tested and Guaranteed to be solid sterling silver. All beautifully crafted by hand the top has a door that open to reveal an internal compartment. Assumed to be for keepsake purposes, medicinal, or ceremonial, unsure which. Amid the thick filigree sides, mesh on both sides and hand applied symbols on the front there are 3 stone cabochons which area bezel set and have deep blue color like lapis.Size of pendant is 1 11/16" tall north to south including the small bale but not including the top ring. Width across the box compartment on top is 5/8" across east to west. Width across the bottom is 1 3/8" east to west. Depth is 1/4" on the compartment and graduating down the side to 1/8" and then to 1/16" at the very bottom. Weight is 9 grams. There is some minor age wear it is in excellent condition. The compartment door likely had a very tiny ball handle which is gone but the door opens easily from the corner and closes securely. There is also small indent near the bottom lapis bezel which is likely from the original hand making and a very tiny solder joint on the edge from the original making. Overall condition is well preserved and excellent. No holes in mesh filigree. All stones are good; not chipped or cracked. Back and sides are fine. This is a very, very fine example of antique Chinese Silver jewelry from the 1800s for your collection.

Antique Edwardian Signed 14K Gold Pearl Wrapped Cameo Pendant Pin
This is a gorgeous and impressive signed early 20th century Edwardian carved shell cameo in 14K white gold. It is marked, tested, and Guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. The round loop at the top is not gold and the pearl wrap is early faux. Condition is excellent. No cracks or chips. The lines you may see on the back are natural and internal to the shell; not cracks. As is commonly the case with these early cameos the acid etched signature is visible but not very legible. See last 3 photos.
The entire cameo itself is unique and beautifully deep carved. The portrait is very intricate and finely detailed. She has a lovely face with an aquiline nose, very noticeable intaglio carved eye, straight lips, carved blouse and carved cap that sits tightly on her skull crown, and is surrounded by wavy hair that decorated the circumference of her head and pulls back into a bun. She also has a carved earring on her ear. Usually the hair on these early cameos jutts out in waves in the back is rarely seen in a tight carved bun. Additionally, there is a raised picture frame border around which is draped a garland of flower and fancy dotted scrolls at the top along with a most unusual carved small smiling face center top that watches over her. The carving, shape, and subject on this cameo is highly unusual.
She is in a thick 14K white gold frame that was made just for her with an inverted top and bottom. The frame is decoratively surrounded by wire strung faux seed pearls that are held in place by a hand applied thick gold loop at the top and bottom center. The pinback is early Edwardian lever up type whereby there is a tiny lever on top which pushes up to release the lock down. The 14K gold marking is found on the hook. The loop bail is hinged so she can be worn as either a pin with a hidden bail or as a pendant.
Other than a small dent on the back frame the 2:30 position she is in excellent, gently used condition. She is completely original and has not been touched, repaired or altered in any way. Any lines you may see on the back are natural inclusions to the shell; not cracks. You can run your fingernail over them and the shell is smooth. No damage or repair to the cameo itself. No chips or flakes or repair. Never altered in any way.
Size is 1 7/8" tall north to south with the loop bail extended upward by 1 3/8" across the center east to west. Weight is 10 grams. This is a very high quality signed Edwardian cameo for your collection. She is quite rare with the signature, the carved frame, and the carved smiling face above. Beautifully made and very pretty!

Big, Bold, Strong, Jeweled, and Heavy Mid Century Handwrought Brutalist Sterling Silver Pearl Fire Opal Pendant. From the 1970s and in excellent condition it is studio made and unmarked. Thoroughly jeweler tested and Guaranteed solid sterling silver with natural mined brown fire opal and large natural mid century cultured pearls. The opal is 16mm by 10 mm with strong brown color and neon greens, oranges, teals peeking through the bottom half of the stones. It still has its original polish and is smooth.
