Description
This is a late mid century vintage nephrite jade hand cut heart pendant for a necklace with its original tiny silver bail. The bail looks fine but loupe inspection reveals that it could use a good cleaning. The jade is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks or flakes or abrasion. no deep scratches. Looks good all the way around on both sides. It is medium to light green and has lovely translucence when held to light. You can also see all of the internal flecks and webbing in the last photo taken in natural lighting. Size is 1 1/8″ tall north to south by 3/4″ wide east to west. Just add a chain and you will have a lovely jade heart necklace.
