XL Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver 27m Slab Onyx Pin Chunky 1970s to 1980s It is marked TC-91 withe the T to indicate Taxco origin and the C to indicate the state in which it was made. The 91 is the number of the maker/artist that is assigned by the Mexican Government. It is also marked Mexico, 925 for Sterling Silver quality and FTC which are the initials of the maker. Additionally, it is jeweler tested and Guaranteed solid sterling silver. Size is 2 1/8" North to South by 1 1/8" East to West by 3/8" deep/thickness. Weight is heavy at 21.3 grams. The sterling silver is thick and solid. The pin holds a huge showy 27m onyx slab cut onyx cabochon stone that is hand set into a large, deep bezel. The back has a very small ding on the top edge that is not eye noticeable when it is worn as it is on the back. Other than this it is in excellent condition. Looks great and very eye catchy when shown on a lapel and would also be a beautiful if repurposed into a necklace centerpiece given its size and chunkiness. This is a lovely well made vintage statement piece for your jewelry collection.

Very Large Mexican Sterling Silver Mosaic Lapis Malachite Donkey Lapel Pin
This is an extra large, thick, vintage, handmade, Mexican Sterling Silver mosaic pin inlaid with malachite and sodalite/lapis stone. It is marked Mexico, N-44, 925. Size is extra large and measures 2 9/16″ long by 1 5/8″ wide north south on the cactus and 1 1/4″ wide north south on the donkey. Weight is Heavy at 17gr. The hand crafting is lovely with a very pretty mix of stones. From the back one can see that the sterling is hand wrought. All of the mosaic work is full and smooth with a thickly applied laminate finish so that all of the mosaic will always stay intact. Condition is excellent, gently used having only light faint surface scuffs to the silver that are Not eye obvious at all when the pin is used. All mosaic is intact. No dents, dings, tears, chips, deep scratches, gauges etc...No wear to the stones. Never repaired or altered in any way. Completely original. As it has some light remnants of a light gold wash it is original vermeilled jewelry from the 1930s. Most of the gold wash has worn with age. It has all around light age wear. It is also handmade. If you look at the photos you can see the soldering joints near the bottom of the prongs for the red glass stone and in the same places in the back. All of the stones are bright, clear, deeply colored. No cracks, chips, nicks, flakes, or abrasions. All good stones. The sterling would look great with a professional jeweler polish. This is a stunning antique Victorian carved purple red rhodolite garnet stickpin having has the best quality raspberry color. Both the setting and stick are solid 10K yellow gold. As expected, the clutch is not gold as they rarely are. All parts have been thoroughly jeweler tested and are guaranteed solid 10K gold. Tests strongly at 10K and is likely a bit higher grade as is common with antique goldsmith made jewelry. Its original tiny natural sea pearls are hand jeweled onto the top of the rhodolite garnet. Other than a very tiny edge nick that is so small that a jeweler or lapidary could polish out but is not necessary as it is not eye catchy. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. No damage or wear to the gold. No cracks to the stone. Never repaired or altered in any way. All original stones and pin. Size is 2 1/2" long. The rhodolite garnet is 8mm across. It does not come off once it is closed in place. Additionally, the curves on the gold edges are also extremely well made. They wont easily bend.

The jade has natural age inclusions as you see in photos. The center stone is 5mm and the outer stones are 3mm each. All of the stones are medium apple green color with semi translucence. Size is 2 1/4" long. The head is 5/8" across. Condition is excellent. Any dark spots you see in photos are old age tarnish and need polishing. All of the gold gilt is intact showy gold. Antique 1920s Art Deco 14K Gold Carved Cameo Stickpin
For sale is an antique 1920s Art Deco 14k white gold cameo stickpin. The cameo is completely carved by hand from a natural sea shell. Although the pin is very small, the detail work is very crisp and sharp. The diamond shape cameo measures 7/8 of an inch by 1/2 of an inch. The pin is a total of 2 & 3/4 inches long. There is no damage or repair to the cameo, and no visible damage or scratching to the shell. We have provided a photo of the back of the cameo against a light source so you can see there are no scratches or cracks in the cameo. This is an antique 14K yellow gold crescent pin with its original natural cream white and silver pearls. Marked and Guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. One of the tiny end pearls is worn down and should be replaced at some point. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. Size is 1" across by 7/8" tall on the longer side by 3/16" depth and 3/8" DEEP with the hook. Weight is 2.9 grams.
