$75.00

Absolutely gorgeous unusual example of vintage Art Deco 1940s, 1950s Van Dell natural shell cameo jewelry…. It is very well made and beautifully deep carved throughout having a portrait of a youthful looking lady and a very fancy open work filigree bezel frame. Signed Van Dell cameo portrait pin and is marked 12K gold filled Van Dell. It is completely original from an estate from decades ago. No alterations or modification. No damage and never repaired. It also has a hinged bail and a good locking clasp. The fancy filigree frame is much stronger gold color than the photos show. There is No wear to the gold; all gold filled intact. Excellent Condition overall, very gently used. This cameo sat in a draw for several decades not being used and the back could use cleaning as it has a light age residue. It has not been touched or cleaned in at least 35 or 40 years. The face is very beautiful detailed and deeply carved with unusually fancy hair, chiseled nose, and a well-defined open intaglio eye, thick lips, up slanted mouth, fancy flower decorated dress and matching flower in hair. Size is 1 1/2″ tall by 1 1/4″ wide across. This is a lovely piece of estate jewelry for your antique and vintage gold jewelry or cameo collection.
