Other: Antique Victorian C Clasp has an old, very early repair that is strong and secure. Hinge has a handmade connection joint. There is some minor edge wear that is not eye noticeable when he pin is worn on lapel. Any dark spots you may see are natural age patina that is not polished out.

Antique Victorian Carved Gutta Percha Volcanite Civil War Mourning Pin
This is an early Victorian Civil War era antique hand carved gutta percha mourning pin in excellent condition. The carving is deep and robust. Every single flower, berry, acorn etc is different. Quite a bit of thought went into carving this pin. Size is 1 9/16" by 1 1/2". It also has good depth/height at 3/4" without the pin back. For sale is an antique 1920s Art Deco 14k white gold cameo stickpin. The cameo is completely carved by hand from a natural sea shell. Although the pin is very small, the detail work is very crisp and sharp. The diamond shape cameo measures 7/8 of an inch by 1/2 of an inch. The pin is a total of 2 & 3/4 inches long. There is no damage or repair to the cameo, and no visible damage or scratching to the shell. We have provided a photo of the back of the cameo against a light source so you can see there are no scratches or cracks in the cameo.
