Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Mid Century Bracelet Large – This is a vintage 1970s to 1980s Taxco, Mexican Sterling Silver modernist bracelet with spheroid elements and two dimensional (outward curve on both sides). Marked TD-30, 925, Mexico with the T for Taxco origin, the D to indicate the first initial of the last name of the silversmith and the 30 to represent that this artist was the 30th silver maker with a letter D name to register with the government assay office. It is beautifully made with 7 completely circular and rounded spheroid elements. Each one measures 1″ across. Between these elements there are thick oval ring connectors. Showy geometric modernist design. It is very strong and well made with fine workmanship. The locking clasp is also strong and secure. The sterling is still very clean and shiny. Hence, the shadows in the images. Condition is excellent, very gently used. No deep scratches, dents, dings, tears or any damage. Light age wear only. Size is just over 8 1/2″ long so it should fit up to a size 8″ easily or a 7 1/2″ with some sway. Weight is 53.7 grams.
