These are symmetrically round and perfect. Sorry for the Photo glare. Both are small and very pretty……Popular style of the early mid century this is a pair of look alike but slightly different rhodium over sterling silver marcasite with fancy millgrain edges screw back earrings. If you look very carefully you will notice that they are slightly different. Each earrings is marked sterling on the top of the screw back. Also, tested and Guaranteed solid sterling silver. They have very fancy tops with all of their original faceted marcasites intact. They are also a little chunky looking because they have good depth. Size of each top is 1/2″ across in diameter by 1/4″ deep/thickness. The screw backs are strong and secure and work well. The screw backs will sit around your ear lobe the same as a huggie earring would. Overall condition of both is excellent. No damage or repair. Lovely find for your vintage sterling silver jewelry collection.
