They were made in the 1980s in different colors and are very, very showy French style couture avant garde look for which Les Bernard is well known.
These vintage Les Bernard earthen brown shoulder length clip on earrings were made in the 1980s and are known for their rough finish, “rugged look” in medium brown inlay with black contour lines. Both are signed Les Bernard. As is commonly the case with these rough inlay finished Les Bernard earrings the finish has tiny flaking off like little iglitter specks leaving small gaps. Other than this, they are excellent. Size of each earring is 4 1/2″ long. They are very dramatic in both size, shape, and design. Very showy. All of the gold plating is intact and excellent. The backs clips are strong and secure. This is a very, very noticeable pair of runway size mid century couture earrings for your vintage statement jewelrycollection. This particular size and style by Les Bernard are somewhat difficult to find.
