This is a Victorian hallmarked sterling silver circle pin depicting the Eiffel Tower which was competed in the 1880s to provide a grand entrance gateway to the Paris Exposition of 1889. It has its original Victorian C Clasp and rod intact. Never jupgraded or changed. You can tell it’s a Victorian one as the rod protrudes out significantly from the circle. These long rods were prevalent during the Victorian era and became shorter in later eras. Guaranteed to be solid sterling silver and in excellent original condition. No dents or dings or tears. Never altered or repaired. Completely original. Size is 1″ in diameter straight across the center east to west. A lovely early example of the original Eiffel Tower for your antique and vintage jewelry collection. Great for any lapel or collared blouse. blouse. It is quite old, has age patina and has not been polished out.
