Description
This is a very vivid 1960s mid century mod fashion jewelry flower pin. Beautifully made, thick and strong. Size is 2 7/8″ across any direction. The back is very, very heavily silverplated. The front has showy brilliant red rhinestones and faceted turquoise glass stones covering the flowers. Very pretty and showy. Looks good on any lapel. The 1960s flower power design is mixed well with somewhat of a sputnik look which was dominant in the 1950s to the 1960s. Overall condition is excellent. It came from an estate from many years ago. Doesn’t look like it was used much. Only one stone has small insignificant scuffs. No wear to the silver at all. No chips or flakes or damage to the rhinestones or glass turquoise. Beautiful look, good quality and great condition make it a strong addition for your vintage statement jewelry collection. If you like the woodstock flower power era then this is for you. Hard to believe this pin is unmarked by a known maker unless there is a mark under all of that heavy silver plate….
