Vintage 1930s 1940s Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Bottle Opener Acorn Pattern Monogrammed “Bud” Art Deco Early Mid Century Scandinavian

Having the post 1927 Sterling Denmark marking for Georg Jensen sterling flatware this is a vintage Art Deco to very early Mid Century Jensen Acorn Pattern bottle opener. It is from an estate from many decades ago and has some very minor age wear at the inner edge of the steel opener. You can see it is all original as it has the steel opener with the little “cat ears” that is found on all Jensen bottle opener. Overall condition is very good to excellent. No dents or dings or tears or repair. Needs a polishing. Size is 4 1/2″ long north to south. One side is monogrammed “Bud” and the other side is monogrammed V.S. I.L.L. J.R. Like many items from these old estates this item may have been engraved at one time on one side and then engraved again at a later date when it was passed on and presented to a family member.

Antique 1904 Sterling Silver Margh Aries Spoon English Cornish Name Mark
This is an antique zodiac Gorham Black Starr and Frost 1904 sterling silver name table spoon - Margh; this is the UK English Cornish name for Mark. It is marked and guaranteed to be solid sterling silver.....Not plated. It also has an M makers hallmark along with early Gorham hallmarks. The handle is beautifully decorated in relief with a raised Aries, a detailed bull, Aries symbol, an Art Nouveau scroll shell design, and a ball end top. There is also some raised flora in the bowl and an engraved 21st toward the center of the handle. Likely presented to Margh for a 21st birthday in 1904 or Margh's birthday fell on the 21st of the month. It is thick, chunky, strong and very well made. Nice and solid. Other than age scratches that can be polished out it is in excellent condition. No dents, dings, tears, gauges or damage. Size is just about 6" long. Weight is HEAVY at 39 grams. This is a lovely antique presentation gift for anyone named Margh or Mark!
