Description
This is a large heavy 10mm wide gold plated multiple link rope twist necklace that measures 18″ long. It has has old style lobster clasp which was prevalent back in the 1970s and 1980s. If you examine the clasp with a loupe you will see that it is a heavy gold plate like the necklace as a tiny thin line on the top of the clasp head has worn. Not eye noticeable unless looking for it. Very small; about 1mm. The chaining has no eye visible wear and is in excellent condition. Chain is heavy and weight is 101.2 grams (just over 3 troy ounces). This is a lovely necklace for your vintage jewelry collection. Nice and big and showy; these chunky vintage chain necklaces look great on solid colors.
