**Actual color of stones is as you see in last photo on black velvet card, pale blue with neon flecking. All natural; Australian NOT doublets. This is a pair of vintage 1980s 14K yellow gold pierced post dangle earrings with oval cut Australian opals. The butterfly backs are marked 14K. The tops have lovely vintage showy texturing that you usually find on 1970s-1980s mid century gold jewelry. The long oval dangles holding the raised opal mountings are also textured with a fancy Art Nouveau style v shaped leaf pattern that graduates around the oval. The natural mined opals are Australian quality milky white with light blue color and pink and neon green sparkles. Size of each stone is 7m by 5m. Size of each earrings measures 1 1/8″ north to south by 3″ wide on the dangles east to west. Overall condition is very, very excellent. No wear at all. These look like they were rarely worn if ever. Light weight and easy to wear this is a lovely pair of vintage dangle earrings for your vintage fine gold jewelry collection.
