Vintage 10K Gold Pearls Chi Omega Sorority Pin – In excellent condition and from a 1950s estate this is a lovely example of older fraternity/sorority jewelry. It is a 10K gold Chi Omega sorority pin. It is jeweler tested and Guaranteed to be solid 10K yellow gold…..Not plated or filled. It was put away for many decades and looks like it was rarely used. It is still bright, and shiny, and clean. No wear to the gold or the pearls or the Omega Chi mascots, owl and skull/crossbones. The back is inscribed B.J. Walter 10-1-55. It is also engraved with the Greek letter Pi and E and on the bottom it reads U119. Size is 1/2″ tall north to south by 1/2″ wide east to west. It is very thick with the gold being 2mm deep on the letter x and 1.5mm deep on the pin itself. Total depth from top of pearls to back of lock is 1/4″. Weight is 2.6 grams. Condition is excellent, very gently used and very well take care of. No damage or repair. A beautiful example of 1950s fraternal/sorority jewelry for your collection.
