Sterling Silver 18k Yellow Gold Wrap Crossover Cable Ring Size 6.5

This is a heavy 1960s vintage American handmade mid century 18k yellow gold tourmaline and garnet ring in size 5 1/2. It has a clean emerald cut green tourmaline along with a larger 12m deep red garnet cabochon stone. Thoroughly jeweler tested, marked 18K with MR (maker/artist marking) and guaranteed solid 18k yellow gold. See marking on underside of ring in last photo. Weight is heavy at 12.5 grams. When examined with a loupe the garnet has a very, very tiny “bite” that is not eye obvious. Very minor, less than 1/2 of a single mm and not seen on the photos. Other than this the condition is perfect. Total carat weight is approximately 7.2 carats. The tourmaline is crisp and clean, better than average quality, 10mm by 6mm and has beautiful emerald green color. The garnet cab is 12mm by 8mm with dark glowing red color as you would see on pyrope garnet. The front measures 1 1/8″ North to South by abut 3/4″ wide across the center. Height is 3/4″ tall from the finger line to the garnet top.
