For men or women this is an interesting and unusual, handmade 1970s mid century, sterling silver ring with black, green, yellow and blue enameling symbolic of nature. The enameling looks like an interpretation of the earth, sun, sky and darkness. All handmade. It is marked 925, tested and guaranteed to be solid sterling silver…..not plated. It also has another artist marking which looks like a fish shape with dots. The enameling is deeply recessed mosaic style and done by hand. The top is 1″ long. Ring size is 8 1/2. The bulk of the ring is the enamel work so although it is large it is also lighter weight and easy to wear. Weight is 4.3 grams. Other than a small wrinkle in the bezel, possibly from the original hand making or a snag, the condition is excellent, gently used. Light age wear only. No dents or dings tears or splits. The enameling is still solid, bright and colorful; not worn away. This is a large showy vintage artistic Southwestern statement ring for your collection.
