Description
Antique early 1900s with beautiful enamel work. Brass plate on a silver alloy or white metal base. It has a small slanted short stiff back and a hinged top. Precurser to swivel cufflinks. When you close the top it kind of locks into place. Size measures just about 1 1/4″ by 5/8″ wide across the center. Inside enameling is red and white while the perimeter is blue. You will see the red in the second photo. It came from an estate and hasn’t been polished out in many, many decades so there is a lot of patina in the back. Overall condition is excellent. No damage or repair. No worn or missing enamel. This is a beautiful, large showy antique cufflink to recycle, upcycle or use for decoration on furniture, other jewelry etc… Or just use it for a centerpiece necklace if you make jewelry.
