Ross Simons 14k Gold Jade 3 Band Pearl Adjustable Ring Sizes 5 To 9

This is a heavy 1960s vintage American handmade mid century 18k yellow gold tourmaline and garnet ring in size 5 1/2. It has a clean emerald cut green tourmaline along with a larger 12m deep red garnet cabochon stone. Thoroughly jeweler tested, marked 18K with MR (maker/artist marking) and guaranteed solid 18k yellow gold. See marking on underside of ring in last photo. Weight is heavy at 12.5 grams. When examined with a loupe the garnet has a very, very tiny “bite” that is not eye obvious. Very minor, less than 1/2 of a single mm and not seen on the photos. Other than this the condition is perfect. Total carat weight is approximately 7.2 carats. The tourmaline is crisp and clean, better than average quality, 10mm by 6mm and has beautiful emerald green color. The garnet cab is 12mm by 8mm with dark glowing red color as you would see on pyrope garnet. The front measures 1 1/8″ North to South by abut 3/4″ wide across the center. Height is 3/4″ tall from the finger line to the garnet top. This is a stunning vintage 14K gold .75 carat diamond ring band size 7.25, in excellent condition. It is marked and guaranteed to be solid 14K yellow and white gold with its original diamonds. There is .75 carat of fine quality SI1/2 clarity and near colorless G/H brilliant cut diamonds. They are exceptionally clean and extremely bright and sparkly with sharp clarity - you can see all the facets clearly. The top measures 3/4" long by 1/8" wide across each diamond. Height is 1/4" above the finger line. This is the height of the top mounting, North to South as you see it in the photo with the ring facing upwards. The ring's weight is 3.2 grams, and its condition is excellent and has no signs of damage or repair work. The band is thick and strong.
