Mid Century Georges Rival French Streetscape Oil Painting
****Colors are much deeper, darker and stronger than photo. Actual is more well-defined than photo. This is an original, signed Georges Rival French streetscape oil painting from an estate and in its original frame. Size of frame is 32" tall North to South by 25" wide across East to West. The frame has some old white paint drops on it. The painting is 25" North to South by 17 1/2" East to West. This is the measurement of what you actually see within the frame. One will occasionally see the mid century Georges Rival seascape paintings but the French streetscape seems to be a little more unusual and harder to find.
There is some general age crackling and one white paint chipped spot. I have seen on line that paint chipping is somewhat common with Rival works due to the thickness of paint application and nature of the painting. Other than this, it is in excelelnt condition. No tears, damage or other paint chips. The colors are deep and strong; actual is a little darker than photo.
This is a lovely painting by a well known mid century artist for your collection.

RARE Antique 1914 Bronze and Copper Orig Elks Lodge Pendant Wall Fixture
Originally from an Elk’s Lodge in New York City this is a very rare and hard to find antique 1868 to 1914 Elks Hanging Pendant Fixture for wall, foyer or above doorway. I understand that very, very few of these exist today. The elk is made of solid bronze (NOT plated) and the back is solid copper (not plated). The chain is original. It has the original insignia of the state of NY Coat of Arms which is prominently hand applied to the lower front. Size without the chain is 8″ across in diameter. Depth is 4 1/2″ from the tip of the antler to the back of the base. The back has a lot of age oxidation and patina which could be polished down to the copper. It has not been touched or polished in many decades. The front has an applied painted finish that is wearing off. Other than this it is excellent. No dents or dings. No cracks or tears. No damage or repair. Sits flat on table without a wobble so you know it has never been dropped or damaged or hammered out. it is still even all the way around. I believe it was taken by an Elk's member of the period after This piece would be lovely stripped down to its original bronze and copper. A great, authentic, original item for an advanced Elks collector. Also, an exceptionally fine piece of architectural salvage.

Blue Grey 16m Plastic Deep Threaded Paperweight Bisque Doll Eyes
This is a pair of vintage 1970s plastic or acrylic round 16mm blue grey doll eyes for doll making or bisque doll replacement eyes. Never used, new old stock. Still in its original packaging with original size label. These are made the older way in 2 parts with a paperweight tops and a mold seam between the paperweight tops and the body of the eye. You can see the paperweight effect of the tops in the last photo. They also have a deeply threaded look just like the eyes of an antique bisque doll. Although marked grey the actual color is more of a blue grey tint. A lovely set of vintage eyes for doll making or restoration.

Mid Century Peter Pepper Desk Barometer Danish Modern Scandinavian
This is a mid-century modern Peter Pepper trio thermometer (Fahrenheit , Celsius Scales) and barometer. It is of very fine quality and made of teak over metal. It is also fully functional, works well, and is in excellent condition. All of the crystals are original. The instrument faces are enamel on steel; clean and clear. The steel bezels have minor surface scratches and could use a polishing. The teak is also excellent having only very minor edge wear at the back bottom. Size is 12" long by 4 1/2" tall up the front panel. Bearing the Peter Pepper name and logo and having such fine quality crafting this is a lovely addition for you mid-century modern desk display or collection; work great with Danish Modern Scandinavian teak items.
