This is an impressive Joan Rivers statement necklace made with 24 strands of gorgeous Italian glass beads. Still has its Jaon Rivers hang tag. Size is 37″ long. Width across is 2 1/2″ with the beads laid out flat. Condition is good as new. No damage or repair. Looks great whether braided, twisted or worn flat. Great statement necklace for any occasion.

Vintage Art Deco DF Briggs Carmen Expansion Sweetheart Bracelet
Antique late Victorian to early Art Deco original Carmen sweetheart expansion bracelet signed D.F. Briggs who was the original maker of the expansion bracelet from Attelboro, MA. These gold filled Carmen expansion bracelets were made between 1892 and 1922. This bracelet has very, very little wear on the "S" links. The gold is still 99% intact so what you are seeing in the photos is a lot of light reflection on the center of each "S" link. Actual bracelet has very little gold wear. It came from an estate many years ago and has lost some of its tightness. It will fit a size 7″ or ANY LARGER size that you need. It has a lot of stretch in it and will gpo to a double triple extra large if needed. This was used by a larger woman so it is stretched out will only spring back to a size medium; won't spring back for a size small. Width is 1/2″ wide across. It is beautifully detailed with a fancy repoussed top that goes all the way around. This is a lovely Victorian to early Art Deco statement bracelet for your vintage and antique gold jewelry collection. Carmen made beautiful bracelets that always look like solid gold once they are polished out.

Oftentimes these chunky gold plated Goldette jewelry pieces were so heavily gold plated that maker marks became filled in or obscured by the gold. Frequently the marking is underneath the gold and not visible. This occurred with other well known makers as well. Other than some minor age wear on the back only it is in excellent overall condition. No dents or dings. No tears. Completely original from an estate from many years ago. Never altered or repaired. All stones are clear and intact having good strong colors. All are crisp and so sparkly that the gold is highly reflective rather than looking like a plain flat yellow gold. There is a beautiful mix of colors and all are set into very fancy gold settings as you see in the photos. This is a large thick chunky vintage Art Deco dark rust to burgundy bakelite bangle bracelet. Old, original and from an estate. It has a small testing notch and is guaranteed to be old bakelite - NOT reproduction. Original owner was a jewelry manufacturer in NYC in the 1930s. It has a wide deep recess is unpolished and matte finished. Possible meant to be decorated. Condition is excellent. For those of you who collect well crafted vintage 1970s era gold jewelry this is a lovely heavy gold plated double sided bracelet in excellent, no wear condition. Never damaged, repaired or altered in any way. All original, all gold is still bright and shiny like new. All of the fancy repousse work on one side is very crisp, clear and clean. The opposite side has a fancy Miami Cuban link with deep recesses going across each link. It is thick, solid and durable; not flimsy. Size is 7" long end to end and laying flat on a table with the clasp open. Should fit a size 6 1/2" easily, possible 6 3/4". There are oval links so additional could be added if needed.
