Tiffany & Co originally made this particular heart ring using various gemstones to include ruby, tourmaline, peridot etc……This stone could be a ruby but to your benefit we are calling this one a rubellite tourmaline because of the shocking color.
This is an absolutely stunning authentic Tiffany & Co 18K yellow gold natural mined rubellite tourmaline/ruby heart ring in size 6.75. It has the 750 European Gold Standard marking for 18K gold. Made in Europe for the American market. It is also Guaranteed to be solid 18K yellow gold and authentic, original Tiffany & Co. The top holds a very showy, crisp, clean, clear, VS clarity, fine quality heart cut rubellite tourmaline/ruby in the center. The stone is completely natural with fine, above average VS 2 quality. It has gorgeous seductive red to shocking pink color and is sparkly. Gemstone weight is approximately .5 carat. Ring size is 6 3/4. Gold weight is chunky and heavy 7 grams. This is a very strong, thick, well made ring. Width across the top of the band is 1/4″ North to South. It has very little tapering and measures 3/16″ across the bottom. It has only had one owner and is in excellent condition. Very light age wear. NO damge. No repair. No dents or dings. No chips or cracks or flakes. Never monogrammed or inscribed.
