Never used 1930s early Art Deco high grade gold plated/gilt estate pin brooch with its original antique 1920s-1930s push pull locking clasp on the back. These clasps are usually found only on better pieces of gold and gemstone jewelry. It has that brilliant gold color that you only find on 22k and 24K gold. Also, the top centerpiece is attached to the base the early way with a tiny hand wrought rivet/nail which you can see on the back. Very well made. The pearl is not real and may be glued to the top…can’t tell how it’s attached. Size is 1 1/2″ east to west by about 1″ north to south. Overall condition is excellent. Beautiful estate brooch for any occasion and looks great on formal wear given the gold color.
