From an estate and in excellent overall condition this is an antique Victorian fancy repoussed love knot button with its original glass/crystal bead in the center and a 1942 brass spring clasp back. Having been in a draw for many decades it has quite a bit of aged patina No dents or dings. No damage or repair. The top has all gold filled intact. The back has a patent number 2308412 from 1942 and is likely a world war 2 military spring back addition to make it more secure on the coat or jacket. A lovely Victorian love knot stud for your antique men’s accessories collection. Should look like gold once it is polished out.
