Needs a bale….For PARTS, repurpose or repair this is an antique Victorian fancy gold filled book locket fob with a purple agate holding a hard stone cameo on one side and a red agate or carnelian stone on the other side. It has no bale and the lock does not work. It is nice and full and chunky. All of the gold filled has fancy work on both sides and is excellent. The gold is not worn down. The stones are also excellent. No chips or cracks or flakes. For anyone who is handy or uses antique jewelry for repurposing this is a gorgeous showy antique locket fob or pendant. The inside gold is still very crisp and clean. Both bezel to hold photos are intact.

Repair Restore Recycle Upcycle – No bail and lock does not work……This is a gorgeous antique Victorian gold filled double photo locket with the original photos intact. One side has its original deep red/brown carnelian slab stone and the other side has a purple agate with a carved hardstone cameo which is attached to a carnelian slab on the underside of the agate. Uncommon blending of stones and very pretty. The hardstone cameo is also unusually attractive with well formed intaglio eyes, slightly smiling mouth and small carved nose. The entire fob is nice and full and chunky indicative of the 1800s Victorian era. All of the gold filled has fancy Etruscan design on both sides with Etruscan circles amid fancy textured gold perimeter and is excellent. The gold is not worn down. The stones are also excellent. There is one very small roughness on the edge from the original hand cutting of the original stones but No chips or cracks or flakes or breaks. For anyone who is handy or uses antique jewelry for repurposing this is a gorgeous showy original Victorian Etruscan locket fob or pendant for your antique gold collection. The inside gold is still very crisp and clean. Both of the original bezels to hold the photo are intact. There is one antique photo still inside.
