This is a very hard to find antique Edwardian Gorham Whiting sterling silver Buttercup sash dress buckle that was never monogrammed. It is very big and showy. Size is 3 3/4″ tall by 2 7/8″ wide across. The back is numbered 358 and has the old Whiting Hallmark as well as sterling marking and 925/1000. The fancy pattern is still deep and crisp. Weight is 39.1 grams. This is a gorgeous, rare buckle for your antique clothing or fancy silver collection.

Antique Victorian Large Sterling Silver Sash Buckle And Belt Complete Original
From an estate, complete, original and iIn well-preserved condition this is an antique Victorian ladies sash in excellent condition and complete with its original ornate sterling silver buckle, sterling fittings and original ribbed cloth. It has a fancy MS SM WS or SW monogram. Looks like it was rarely used as the cloth is in such good shape having only a very thin 1.5" run near the edge. No tears, wear, tattering or discoloration. All of the sterling silver is also excellent having only light age wear scratches that can be polished out. No dents or dings or repair. Size of the buckle alone is just about 3" tall North to South by 2" wide across East to West. The cloth sash is 30" long by 2" wide. The cloth and the buckle together measure 31 3/4" long. This is a lovely original estate find with a large fancy sterling buckle for your antique Victorian collection.

Mid Century Mexican Sterling Silver Amethyst Pillbox Ladies Box
Mid Century Mexican Sterling Silver Amethyst Pillbox Ladies Box - Lovely jeweled sterling silver ladies accessory, late mid century, hinged box with its original hand cut amethyst stone cabochon. The bottom is marked Sterling, 925, Mexico. The amethyst has much better purple color than the photo could capture. It is all handmade and has a wave cut scalloped front with pop down lid that holds tight from the sides but never had a lock. After all these years it has still held its form quite well. and open and closes easily. It was never monogrammed or inscribed. Overall condition is excellent. No dents or dings to the sterling silver silver. No chips or cracks to the bezel set 5mm amethyst stone. The stone has a medium purple color with a nice internal glow. The bezel setting is finished off with a twisted silver application around the perimeter of the bezel. Size from top of cabochon to bottom of box is 5/8" tall. Left to right east to west measures 1 1/2" long. Width/depth measures 7/8" front to back. Not easy to find original, older mid century jeweled Mexican Sterling Silver items this is a lovely box for your collection.

They are marked sterling, and Guaranteed sterling silver. The blades are shiny and silverplated rather than gunmetal or iron. They also have a spring design so when they are closed the blades bounce back. Hence, you will feel it if you are closing them too tightly. Size is 5" tall by 3 1/2" across the handles. Other than very little minor edge wear on the blades they are in excellent overall condition. Never monogrammed or inscribed. Completely original. No dents or dings. Never modified, repaired or altered in any way. Part of an estate silver group of ladies accessories and sewing scissors that were very well cared for over the years. They are well made still quite strong, very little wobble between the handles. Blades are still very sharp. This is a gorgeous pair of fancy sterling silver scissors for any antique sewing and/or ladies accessories collection. They cut paper, thread and cloth easily.
