This is an antique 14K yellow gold crescent pin with its original natural cream white and silver pearls. Marked and Guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. One of the tiny end pearls is worn down and should be replaced at some point. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. Size is 1" across by 7/8" tall on the longer side by 3/16" depth and 3/8" DEEP with the hook. Weight is 2.9 grams. This is a lovely antique Victorian yellow gold filled natural carved scenic shell cameo pin in original, excellent condition. Original C clasp is intact and secure. No wear to the gold. No tears, deep scratches or dents. The front has crisp, clear detail of a lady in noticeable Victorian costume on a cliff with a bridge and water in the background. There are light surface age scratches on the back of the cameo but no open cracks, chips, or flakes. Size is 1" tall North to South 5/8" wide across. The unusual subject makes this a beautiful addition for your antique Victorian jewelry or cameo collection.
Antique Art Deco Platinum 14k Gold 2.9 CTS Diamond Sapphire Pin
This is an absolutely striking platinum on 14K yellow gold Art Deco diamond and sapphire pin with gorgeous stones. It is jeweler tested as platinum on 14K yellow gold. The setting on this pin is lovely with fancy open filigree work on both sides of the undermounting, nicely made bezels and lots of tiny, fancy, intricate millgrain work on all the bezels and long edges. Very showy and noticeable. The top holds gorgeous, high quality VS2 and SI1 (jeweler assessed as VS2 quality and SI1 is mentioned to be conservative) brilliant diamonds. They are very crisp, clean and clear on all facets. Color is beautiful, F/G near colorless. All are VERY WELL MATCHED in size, color and clarity. All are bright and lively. NO dead stones. Amid the diamonds are large and small Art Deco cushion cut sapphires. TOTAL CARAT WEIGHT is approximately 2.9 carats. Diamond weight is .5 carat. Sapphire weight is approximately 2.4 carat. Size is 2 1/2" long by 3/16" wide across by 3/16" depth. Weight is 5.7 grams. Condition is excellent, very gently used. The diamonds and sapphires are wonderful. The filigree open work is fine. The locking clasp works well. This is a very impressive Art Deco statement pin for your collection. The setting is lovely. The diamonds are super lively. The sapphires make it very showy.
Antique Edwardian 14k White Gold Rosettes Carved Shell Cameo Pin
For sale is an Edwardian to Early Art Deco hand carved cameo shell pin set in a 14k white gold frame. The frame features fancy fleur de lis prongs, filigree open work on the sides and an engraved twist design on the gold edges. The frame is marked 14k. Cameo has a beautifully carved border, rosettes, pansies, strong facial features and hair. Weight is 7.1 grams. Size is 1 3/4" tall North to South by 1 5/16" wide East to West. The condition is excellent with no cracks, chips, flakes, dents or damage. It has one thin scratch line on the back but it is not visible on the front. The natural shell has a deep curve which causes the cameo to sit higher in the setting on the top and bottom than on the sides. This is characteristic of the piece of shell that was used. This is an exquisite and rare cameo for your collection.
