Description
This is a vintage Art Deco ladies mechanical pencil that telescopes in and out. Since it is very hard to pull it in and out it appears to get stuck. The bottom section pushes out lead as you turn it forward and retracts the lead as you turn it backward. It was never monogrammed or inscribed. All of the gold is intact and it has age patina. It also has dark spots on the center tube which should be professionally polished out. There is a 1/8″ narrow strip of silver within the gold metal that runs down the length pof the center tube. It is melded into the gold and not a separate piece of metal. Could be 1930s vermeille gold and silver. Overall condition is very good. No dents or dings. No deep scratches or damages. This is a lovely Art Deco estate find for your ladies accessories collection. Would also look good enhanced with a layer of pearl wrap around the center tube….
