This is a stunning antique 14K gold mine cut diamond and sapphire ring with fancy filigree open work and carved rosettes. It is jeweler tested and Guaranteed to be solid 14K white gold. The band is worn from age and had a resize many years ago so any gold markings have now worn off. Total carat gemstone weight is .60 carat. The top holds a beautiful showy, clean, bright, sparkly, good quality, old European mine cut diamond that is approximately .5 carat. SI1/2 with near colorless H/I/J color. Early, original, natural, untreated, mined diamond. Accenting the center diamond are old single cut triangular sapphires. The front and back of the mounting have fancy hand pierced open filigree work around, fancy millgrain and tiny cut work on the edges. There is also some tiny carved work on the shank. General condition is excellent condition, all original and no damage to stones or fancy filigree work. Although it looks great on any finger and is okay to wear for now you will probably want to add gold to the bottom of the band at some point in the future. Ring size is 7 1/2. Size of top is 1/4″ North to South by 3/4″ East to West, shoulder to shoulder. Height is 5/16″ tall above the finger line. Weight is 2.5 grams.
