Antique 1855 Victorian 22K Gold Garnet Pearl Ring Birmingham Hallmark Gemstone Ring BandStacking Stacker – This is an antique year dated 1855 early Victorian 22K gold ring band with natural garnets and pearls. It has British/English Birmingham hallmarks, with letter G 1855 years date and crown 22 assay. It is also jeweler tested and Guaranteed to be solid 22K gold. Also important is that it is an original ring size 6 1/2. This is an unusually large size to find for rings made in the 1850s. Most of them were very tiny as women had a much smaller bone structure back then. It has an old, 1800s goldsmith made connection joint repair that is not eye visible. Other than this it is in excellent condition. The top has a traditional combination of small natural 2mm sea pearls and 3mm garnet stones that are hand cut and inverted with the point on top. Nice, early stones. Very deep port wine Bohemian red garnet color. Width across the top is narrow at just about 4mm or 3/32″. Weight is 1.8 grams. Very gently used, this is a wonderful, early, antique gemstone ring for your collection in solid 22K gold!! Lovely for stacking with other antique gemstone ring bands.
