Description
From an estate and in excellent, original condition this is an antique 10K Gold Kappa Delta Rho fraternal pin with natural sea pearls and rubies. It is marked FSV, 10k, and has a maker hallmark. It is also jeweler tested and guaranteed solid 10K gold. Size is 9/16″ East to West by 3/8″ tall North to South. This is an early, well made pin with very, very thick solid 10K gold. Each section is 2mm thick and the total depth is 1/8″ front to back without the pin rod. The Greek Kappa and Rho letters are deeply carved and very fancy with a Victorian scroll design. The Delta is completely jeweled with small, showy, natural seed pearls that are well matched in color and size. There are also 4 sparkly red rubies that are approximately .11 carat total weight. The original gold chaining is still attached and able to be connected to anything you like such as a fob or small dangle. Condition is completely original and excellent, No damage or repair. This is a lovely original antique gold addition for any fraternal jewelry collection.
