Description
This is a one original 1923 group of 3 antique Art Deco signed LV Aronson Catholic wall pendant plaques of Miraculous Mary, Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Sorrows. These came from an estate many decades ago and were original in a church that was closed during the 1960s due to Catholic parish restructuring. These were given to the original caretaker. It consists of the full group of 3 wall hanging pendant fixtures or plaques originally made/designed by LV Aronson. They are made of a heavy dark metal with a silver plated gilt finish. One is marked L.V. Aronson. One is marked USA. One has no visible mark. Possibly underneath the silver. They are quite heavy and do not stick to magnet. They have a dark patina color under the silver. Other than some outer age wear to the finish they are in excellent condition. No dents or dings or breaks. No chips or cracks. No damage or repair. All 3 have their original pendant bails for hanging Originally made for a church that is not been operational in many decades this is a lovely, beautifully made group of artist signed Catholic wall hangings for your antique religious keepsakes collection.
