Vintage Beto CRO Taxco Mexican Silver Bear Animal Paw Pin - This is a large, very well made animal bear paw pin brooch made and signed Beto CRO, Taxco, Sterling, Mexico. See dual markings. The top is finely detailed and decorated with abalone shell, mother of pearl. It is colorful and frames the paws nicely. Size of pin is 1 9/19" east to west across the abalone and 1 13/16" east to west across the paws end to end. Width/height is 1 3/8" north to south. It is from an estate and the sterling and shell are in excellent, gently used condition. The pinback is strong double c clasp. Although it is pretty secure it has no lock. No dents or dings. All abalone intact. The sterling is thick and substantial. Lovely 1950s-1960s pin for your vintage Mexican silver jewelry collection.

The back is marked a rosar original with pre 1970 full word block letter sterling marking. Made of solid 925 sterling silver. Size is 1 5/8" east to west by 1 3/8" north to south. The curvy leaf has a hammered design and the berries are thick, hand applied, half balls. Strong mid century look. 1960s Danish Modern Large Rose Quartz Pin Brooch by mid century Scandinavian artist/designer NE Niels Erik From in sterling silver and rose quartz. As with much of From’s minimalist artistic work during this time frame the pin is concave bowl shaped which makes the large bezel set rose quartz stone visibly open yet deep set. Size is 1 3/4″ by 1 1/8″. The large 25mm by 14mm rose quartz stone is pale pink color with silvery rutilated lines inside the stone. Other than surface age scratches to the sterling it is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips or abrasions to the stone. No dents or dings. Never repaired or altered. All original condition. Good secure locking clasp. A lovely pin by a well known mid century modernist jewelry maker with a very large gemstone for your vintage jewelry collection.

Vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Amethyst Cross Pendant - This is a well made mid century hand crafted Taxco Mexico sterling silver cross pendant with amethyst and green onyx cabochon stones. It is marked Hecho en Mexico, DF, 925 circle mark with maker MM in the center. It also has a right facing #1 eagle marking. It is beautifully crafted with crimped gemstone settings much in the style of MATL jewelry and has an oxidized background finish. It also had fancy notches around the perimeter as you would see in hand crafted millgraining. Size is 2 3/8" tall north to south by 1 1/2" wide east to west. The oval top loop will hold 3mm chaining. With the top loop the pendant measures 2 1/2" tall. Weight is 10.2 grams. Condition is excellent, minimal age wear. Never altered or repaired. All original, estate found condition. A lovely addition for your vintage mid century and/or Mexican silver jewelry collection.
