Fancy 1950s-1960s mid century sterling silver serving dish with a very pretty raised fancy scroll border on the edge. It is marked sterling, #6439 and also has a maker hallmark. Guaranteed solid sterling silver; Not plated. Weight is 5.4 troy ounces or 151.1 grams. Never monogrammed or inscribed. Size is 7" across and the sides slope from 3/4" to 1/2". Great for a bottle of wine/champagne or serving nuts, candies, delicacies, small fruits, berries, small vegetables etc... It came from an estate and overall condition is excellent. Some light surface scratches from age but no dents or dings. No mono. No tearing or gauges. No repair. Cleaned but not freshly polished out. This is a simple yet very pretty wait tray for your formal dining table that will enhance your vintage and antique estate silver collection.
Fancy Vintage 800 Silver Footed Serving Dish European Continental Silver
Lovely vintage estate silver table serving piece..... this is a 1910s to 1920s hallmarked 800 for European Continental Silver (commonly referred to as European Sterling) 3 footed dish for serving candies, mints or any other small confection you may have. It has an ornate deeply repoussed scroll pattern indicative of the Art Nouveau era along with hand engraved flowers and leaves throughout. The outer edge is scalloped all the way around and the inside has a concave wave pattern to match. The bottom has 3 separately hand applied feet. Size is 5 1/2" across. Height is 1 1//8" tall. Overall condition is excellent. Never monogrammed or inscribed. No dents or dings. Never altered, repaired or modified. Completely original. Cleaned but not freshly polished. A lovely addition for your antique and vintage silver collection. Looks lovely with multicolored pastel mints on a formal dining table.
