Antique Edwardian Platinum Ruby Diamond Ring Early Art Deco 1920s Size 8.25 - This is a late Edwardian to early Art Deco 1920s fancy filigree ring with its original mine cut natural ruby and original mine cut natural diamonds intact. It is marked platinum and Guaranteed solid platinum. The ruby is surrounded by small sparkly mine cut diamonds which have gold prongs. The ruby is .18 carat and the diamond weight is approximately .5 carat. Total carat gemstone weight is .68 carat. The ruby has no eye visible wear. Loupe shows minor abrasions on the lower facets. Nothing eye visible. Color is deep red with internal fuschia color. The diamonds are all quite brilliant with strong fire. Very bright and sparkly. All of the diamonds are good with no cracks, chips, abrasions or any damage. All are natural mined and are well matched in color and size. All are near colorless. Ring size is 8.25 and has never been resized. Hard to find these early rings is this size without a prior alteration. Size of top is 3/4" north to south by 5/8" east to west. Weight is 6.2 grams. Overall condition is excellent. This ring has showy angular early Art Deco 1920 open work filigree around all of the gemstones. Lovely ring in a large size for your antique jewelry collection.

This is an antique Art Deco original mine cut diamond ring in it original 14K white gold fancy setting. Ring size is 5 1/4 and can be resized by any jeweler if needed. Total carat weight is .66 carat. The center stone is .52 carat and is surrounded by 4 early brilliant cut stones. The center diamond is SI3-I1 with beautiful near colorless G color. It is exceptionally bright and sparkly; a highly noticeable diamond. Weight is 3 grams. The setting is high quality thick solid 14K gold with a fancy Art Deco basket/box mounting and excellent condition band. No wear to this ring. Very gently used. No damage or repair. This is a gorgeous Art Deco diamond ring for anyone who collects antique jewelry and/or is getting engaged.
