Late Art Deco 1940s Hand Etched Glass Japanese Pagoda Sterling Silver Screw Back Dangle Earrings
Lovely pair of vintage late Art Deco hand crafted sterling silver earrings with rock crystal dangles having hand etched pagodas. 1940s-1950s Japanese import for the US market made of 950 high grade 95% pure silver, higher than sterling silver quality. The pagodas are very detailed and beautifully etched; visible from both sides. Size of each earring is 1 3/8" tall north to south from the top of each prong set paste/rhinestone to the bottom of each dangle. Width across the body of each dangle is 5/8". Depth oif each dangle is 1/4" front to back and they have a very early mid century rounded geometric thick rounded triangular shape. Overall condition of both earrings is excellent. The screw backs work easily and hold in place. The glass dangles are very showy and noticeable. All original from an estate many decades ago and kept in beautiful, original condition. No dents or dings. No damage or repair. Never altered or modified. No cracks, chips, flake or abrasions. An exquisite pair of very well made hand crafted earrings for your vintage jewelry collection.
