Vintage Wallace Sterling Silver Serving Dish Fancy Grand Baroque No Monogram Excellent Condition Mints Candy Hollowware

Lovely vintage, 1960s, Wallace Sterling Silver fancy heart shaped serving dish. It is in the well-known and popular Grand Baroque pattern which was first created in 1941 by William S. Warren to celebrate the Grand Baroque period. It is very ornate with a fancy scroll, bead and floral design and showy open work throughout. It is marked with original Wallace hallmarks along with full word Sterling and Wallace. It is also numbered 4850-9. Size is 6 1/4" north to south by 4 1/2" east to west by 1 1/4" deep. Never monogrammed or inscribed it came from a 1960s estate where is was kept in excellent overall condition. No dents or dings or deep scratches. All original. Never altered, repaired or modified. This is a beautiful older example of Grand Baroque hollowware for your formal dining table and/or vintage antique sterling silver collection.
