Antique 1905-1930 Original Authentic Hubley Aunt Jemima Mammy Cast Iron Coin Bank Blue Scarf
This is an original, authentic early 1900s Hubley cast iron Black Americana Aunt Jemima or “Mammy” coin bank. She measures 5 1/8″ tall, has tight fitting side seams, a flat head screw in the back and the more unusual blue head scarf with white dots. She has not been cleaned in many, many years. Other than some small paint flakes as shown in the photos, you can see that she is in excellent original condition. She came from the family estate of the original owner from years ago. There are no coins inside of it. Width across the body elbow to elbow is 2 5/8″ across east to west. Diameter around her hips just underneath her hands is 5 3/4″ around. This is a lovely antique coin bank for your antique toy bank collection and/or Black Americana collection of famous well-known figures. No repaint, minor age wear and harder to find blue scarf!
