Lovely vintage 1940s era sterling Silver Miraculous Mary Pendant in solid sterling silver and an unusual fancy wreath pattern enveloping the Mary figure which is raised above a partial pattern of sun rays. It is marked sterling and guaranteed solid sterling silver. The back has the devotional 12 stars, 2 raised sacred heart and immaculate heart as well as the M below a cross. These are all deeply symbolic elements from a vision of the Virgin Mary experienced by French nun Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830. This came from an older estate and is in excellent condition. No dents or dings or tears or repair. All original and never altered. Hasn’t been recently polished. All of the old patina is intact. Size is 1 3/8″ north to south with the bail by 3/4″ wide east to west.
