Description
Very noticeable as a vintage mid century piece this is a large 1960s Wm Rogers Oneida silver plated bread tray with 1 very raised stylized poppy on each end. It is marked Wm Rogers with the incised mark and also has its original foil Oneida label. Size measures just over 13″ long east to west by 7 1/4″ wide north to south. Depth straight down is 1 1/4″ on each poppy edge. Of course the full edge on each poppy end is much larger. Other than expected light surface scratches from age and use it is in excellent overall condition. All silver is intact. No worn silver at all. No deep scratches, gauges, tears. No repair or alterations. No replating or silver dipping. All original & excellent. It has been cleaned but is not freshly polished out. This is lovely addition for your formal dining table or for anyone who has a mid century dining suite. The stylized poppies are almost 6″ long and highly stylized.
