Description
Mid to late Art Deco top, lid or cover in solid sterling silver with a fancy beaded edge and fancy letter S script monogram. It is marked sterling, numbered #2622 and made by Foster Brothers of Rhode Island which went defunct in 1951. Size is 1 1/2″ across the mouth opening by 1 5/8″ across the top end bead straight across to end bead by 7/16″ tall. It has overall age wear including tiny dings here and there but no large dents, fingernail , tears, repair etc… All original. Great for vintage glass and crystal travel set jars and any other kind of vintage sterling cover you may need for glass and crystal bottoms.
