Vintage Sterling Silver Tall Triple Candlesticks Candelabra

This is a pair of vintage Art Deco tall sterling silver triple candlesticks which are marked sterling, Duchin, weighted. Each stick measures just about 11 7/8″ tall by 10 7/8″ wide east to west, end of arm to end of arm. They were never monogrammed or inscribed. Decoration on tops of holders matches that around bottom edges of bases so you know they are a matched set. They are completely original estate silver and were never modified, altered, repaired or touched up in any way. The bases have quite a bit of age wear, small dents and dings, particularly on the thin strip of silver on the base edge. These bases can usually be found easily on line or at any antique show if you wish to replace them. The tops have some scratches and some dings here and there. From the bottom connection on up any age wear is very faint and not eye obvious unless up close inspecting.  This pair is quite tall and sits prominently on any table or sideboard or is able to be used in place of electric lighting as needed. This is a lovely pair of large tall older vintage triple candlesticks for your formal dining table!

Antique Sterling Silver Travel Clock World War 1 1919 Black Starr Frost
This is an antique Black, Starr , Frost sterling silver travel alarm clock presented to a naval officer by his staff in 1919. All of their initials/monograms are shown on the top as they were engraved by the Black, Starr , Frost jeweler. The case has a carved Greek Key design on the border and the inside has a hammered design. Hallmarked and marked Black, Starr , Frost. Clock is 15 jeweled, J.C. Tava, Swiss. The officer to which this was presented had the initial CMD as you see in the center cartouche on the front along with the 1919 year date of presentation. Size of case is 3 1/2" by 2 3/4" by 5/8' deep. The inside holds its original Black, Starr 8 day alarm clock which is no longer working. Jeweler says it needs a spring but the rest of the mechanism looks fine. The case is excellent condition. You can hear the loud snap as it closes securely in place and it stays closed. From an estate and not polished. It has one small scratch on the front. Weight is 219.1 grams which includes the clock. As you know, Black Starr , Frost were exclusive, expensive silversmiths in the early 1900s. They used very thick, high quality silver in their products and were competitors of Tiffany , Co. This is a most unusual estate find for any World War 1, clock or antique sterling silver collection. Completely original.

This is a vintage 1940s-50s early mid century Reed & Barton, Renaissance fancy pierced sterling silver meat server, cold meat serving fork. It is marked Reed & Barton with old triple Reed & Barton hallmarks. It is also marked sterling and Guaranteed to be solid sterling silver......Not plated. The top has the ever popular fancy Art Nouveau Renaissance revival pattern. The tines are curved and pointed in opposing directions in order to pierce the meat. The rest of the bottom is fancy, pierced, and very pretty. From an estate it was Never monogrammed, inscribed, or altered in any way. All original, condition having average wear but no dents or dings or deep scratches or tears or any other damage. Size is 7 5/8" long. Weight is HEAVY 69.9 grams. This is a beautiful fancy serving piece for your formal table or flatware collection. Great for any occasion.
