This is a great big showy Art Deco retro sterling silver insect pin with rhinestones and a large ruby glass center. It is Marked Sterling. Also tested and Guaranteed solid sterling silver. As it has some light remnants of a light gold wash it is original vermeilled jewelry from the 1930s. Most of the gold wash has worn with age. It has all around light age wear. It is also handmade. If you look at the photos you can see the soldering joints near the bottom of the prongs for the red glass stone and in the same places in the back. All of the stones are bright, clear, deeply colored. No cracks, chips, nicks, flakes, or abrasions. All good stones. The sterling would look great with a professional jeweler polish. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. Very geometric in form it is readily identifiable as Art Deco Retro period. Size is large at 2 7/8″ long by 1 1/2″ wide across. Weight is 20.3 grams. This is a lovely and highly noticeable statement pin for your vintage art deco or insect jewelry collection. Very stylized in form.

The top has fancy scroll work in the gold, enameling, and the traditional Masonic insignia with the compass and ruler. Original Victorian C-Clasp is still intact. Size is 1/2" by 3/16. This is a lovely antique Victorian yellow gold filled natural carved scenic shell cameo pin in original, excellent condition. Original C clasp is intact and secure. No wear to the gold. No tears, deep scratches or dents. The front has crisp, clear detail of a lady in noticeable Victorian costume on a cliff with a bridge and water in the background. There are light surface age scratches on the back of the cameo but no open cracks, chips, or flakes. Size is 1" tall North to South 5/8" wide across. 1920s Chinese Sterling Silver Gold Gilt Jade Stickpin Stick Pin
Antique Chinese Silver 1920s stick pin with gold gilt and natural jade cabochon stones. It is marked Silver and tested as sterling silver quality. Collectors of Old Chinese import will recognize the "Silver" mark as sterling silver with gold gilt. It is fancy filigree with a raised gold edges and twisted gold bezels. The jade has natural age inclusions as you see in photos. The center stone is 5mm and the outer stones are 3mm each. All of the stones are medium apple green color with semi translucence. Size is 2 1/4" long. The head is 5/8" across. Condition is excellent. Any dark spots you see in photos are old age tarnish and need polishing. All of the gold gilt is intact showy gold. From an estate and left completely original. All good filigree. This is a lovely antique Chinese import jade stick pin for your collection.
