Antique Vienna Bronze Dachshund Dog Match Holder is solid bronze with lovely detailing; big floppy ears, noticeable elongated body like a real Dachshund, short cropped tail, well defined snout, deep eyes and deep inverted v shaped mouth. Paws are also big and fluffy. The bottom has scratch marks where you can see that it is solid bronze through and through. Not plated or cast iron. Size is 2.5″ tall from top of head to bottom of base. The base is 2.25″ long by 1.5″ wide by .75″ tall without the figure. The bottom of the base is coming apart at the edge which could be resoldered or glued. Other than this, it is in excellent condition. No damage or repair to figure. Completely original. Never modified or altered. This is a beautiful antique Dachshund for your Vienna Bronze or antique dog collection.
