Antique Edwardian Art Deco 18K Gold Mine Cut Diamond Ring
Beautiful, stunning antique 18K gold mine cut diamond ring with a semi high crown setting containing fancy filigree open work and deep carved 1920s arrow pattern on the sides. It is jeweler tested and Guaranteed to be solid 18K white gold. The bottom of the band is a little worn from age but still secure. The rest of the ring including the stone is in excellent, very gently used condition, free of damage or repair. No alteration or changes made to this ring at all. As all original antique Edwardian to early Art Deco rings were made with thin bands this is one way to be sure you are purchasing an original authentic 1920s ring and not a later revival. Although the band is presently secure you may want to thicken it at some point in the future.
The top holds a beautiful showy, clean, bright, sparkly, original, antique, diamond that is approximately .57 carat. SI/2 with near colorless H/I color. Size is 5.25mm. An early, original, natural, untreated, mined diamond. Unusually clear, bright, white and glittery with lots of fire. The front and back of the mounting have fancy filigree open. There is also tiny cut work like very tiny millgrain on the edges of the 8 sided octogonal bezel holding the diamond. There is also a small deep carved 1920s arrow pattern on the shank which nicely finishes off the setting. The top setting measures 5/16″ north to south by 3/8″ east to west. Height is almost 1/4″ from the finger line.
